Plants turned up in very poor condition,the person I spoke to when i rang customer services was very rude.She said the plants are live things and the weather can effect them,well that says it all,they are sending plants our even if they are crap condition.Just buy your plants elsware and save yourself time and hasle.
Several members of staff told totally different versions of what had happened to my order. Each one was a lie. A manager called to say the items had been dispatched yesterday and would arrive either yesterday (what - same day as dispatch?) or today yet the cheap courier says it will be at least 2 more days. That means they do not deliver within the stated 21 days from order. Additionally the manager said an email of the items being shipped had been sent, which it hadn’t and was only sent today following a formal complaint. The manager also said I had been sent an email about 1 item that wasn’t available and the refund amount due. Again no such email. However following my formal complaint another ill informed person sent me a list of items ordered and now 30% of my order appears to be unavailable. I accept that things go wrong but this is absolutely appalling. This once good company has gone to s**t. I will never be doing business with them ever again. Disgusting service!
Refunded after waiting with no estimated delivery time
Sadly, I had to request a refund.
An order of 7 items that was placed over a month ago still hadn't been delivered (despite on the website stating 2 weeks delivery - and still stating this and not having received my order).
When I contacted the company I was told they were awaiting delivery from their sister company but still couldn't give me any idea of when my order will arrive as they deliver first come first serve.
After another week, I requested a refund which was put through promptly.
I must say their customer service for replying to emails is quite quick, just unfortunate that they couldn't give me an estimated delivery time, otherwise I would have waited.
The astrantia I ordered was in a poor condition when it arrived - dried up with virtually no foliage. I whatsapped customer services who replied "some plants have little or no foliage due to them dying back from its previous season". It's June. The astrantias I have in my garden are in full bloom with lots of foliage!
I was given the option of returning the plant at my expense.
I won't be using this company again.
This order was a big disappointment. The plants were jammed together some upside down. When i carefully removed them, the leading stem on more than half was broken. After soaking them to plant the rootballs of the thalictrum were terribly congested and dry despite an overnight soaking. I was tempted to throw the Veronica away as the single lead spike was broken on two out of three.
Ordered garden ready plants as unable to do seeds/seedlings this year.
There was a great selection of plants to choose from and decided on Impatiens, Co!eus, Campanula and Scabious 80 plants in total. Such great value for price paid and received free p&p.
Advised via email all aspects of order status and delivery dates.
Plants arrived in brilliant fresh, healthy condition, carefully packed and with moist compost. Enclosed with plants were instructions on immediate care and planting instructions. It is refreshing to deal with J Parkers as they ensured everything from first order through to planting out was satisfactory to the customer.
All 80 plants are now in garden and thriving. Will certainly be ordering for autumn flowering and spring bulb requirements.

Great choice, regular offers. Plants excellent quality usually but when needed the customer care is great too. Updates are prompt and timely. I've used them for many years so they must be good. :-)
Product ok, but should have been better packed to avoid damage in transit.
The purchasing process was very good and easy and I was kept informed as to the progress and when to expect the hanging baskets.
However, on receipt, there was soil everywhere and many of the stems of the flowers were broken and bashed.
The delivery box in itself was robust and good quality, but the hanging baskets had just been placed inside and had clearly rolled around during transit. A bit of extra packing around the base, or even polystyrene/cardboard holders to stop the baskets from moving around in the box would have resolved the problem.
We have just about rescued the plants/baskets but time will tell if the recover 100%.
This is the first time I have been a customer of yours and I most definitely will be again! The level of communication was fantastic throughout regarding the delivery and when to expect my order. As for the plants themselves they all arrived in one piece, perfectly packaged and are now thriving in their pots. Only downside was the delivery driver who ignored the very clear writing on the box which said 'This Way Up' with arrows too but decided to plonk it upside down instead! Thankfully, due to your diligent packing the plants were fine. I highly recommend this company A*
