Our tour was amazing. Houssin our guide was inspiring, passionate about his country and friendly, sensitive to the different personalities in the group. He was approachable and helped with all inquiries, no matter how small. Houssin also facilitated our dinners and different requirements. He developed a real rapport with our group. Local guides were articulate and informative.
We had a great tour with 'Seen' our Tour Leader who made everyone feel so welcome. 'Seen' continued this throughout our Trip giving us so much information on all destinations and looking after our welfare. Additionally all the Support Team worked hard to keep us safe, well feed and hydrated always with a smile. So many wonderful memories, good laughs with other Team bike members and new friendships forged. Thank you Intrepid, Dave
Having never been to Turkey previously and as a first time user of Intrepid, we had an amazing tour. We did the Turkey Encompassed tour which was led by Mali who was so knowledgable, a great tour leader and gave us a fantastic insight into the country. Being in a small group was great and so many highlights, would recommend this tour and Intrepid.
Fantastic trip, I have lifelong wonderful memories. Beautiful places, brilliant captain, a great band of fellow travellers all add up to a great week.

I love travelling with Intrepid - I feel on all occasions I have gained an insight to the culture and everyday life of my surrounds, this is supplied through their itineraries, guides, local guides and bus drivers. After completing my 9th tour with them I contacted their customer service department about some things I had noted and I felt could be improved. Now I know why their tours are of a fabulous standard - I was listened to with enthusiasm and respect and in return I felt valued and that as a traveller with them that I was heard and future travellers would benefit by my input with Intrepid wanting to improve experiences for all in whatever way they could. Thankyou to Tabitha for making another experience with Intrepid enjoyable

Morroco luxury - what a joke. Most of the accommodation they rate 4/5 stars that is wrong. 2/3 stars at best. The desert camp was a dump. So many issues with the tour guide he was to busy chasing skirt. I made a complaint they basically called me a liar. Got sick and the tour guide claims he knew nothing about it. Such a lie. Left me waiting for an hour an half to pick me up when the walk was meant to to be 40 minutes i didnt go on the walk as was feeling so unwell from the food. He claims he left me at a cafe another lie. Never never never again would i go on an intrepid trip even if it was for free. To call me a liar was the last straw. Do yourself a favour and go with a decent company intrepud are rotten to the core. Asis you are a liar. Intrepids response holds no accountability that their tour guide is a liar. Do not travel with them they will make up excuses to stop them having any accountability

Overall trip was well organised from the time I landed at the airport. Destinations covered were very interesting, mostly the important must see ones such as Pyramids, Temples in Luxor and the Nile Cruise between Aswan and Luxor. The most memorable one remains the Nile cruise which was wonderful. As an area of further enrichment of experience, perhaps either Alexandria or Abu Simbel could be included in the itinerary itself as well. That would make it the trip even more complete. Else overall, a very memorable trip with so much to learn.

I have recently come back from my second Intrepid trip (Okavango Experience), having previously done the Morocco Uncovered one. Both trips have exceeded expectations, the tour organisation and quality of the guides involved have been great and made a difference. Itineraries and activities have been accurate. I do find if you go with a positive and flexible attitude, and have good group social interaction skills you will enjoy the time even more. I’ve been fortunate to be there with two great groups from which we all learn and share experiences. I would definitely look at Intrepid again for my next adventure although would be good if they have a loyalty/discount scheme to encourage more to keep returning and not consider competitors.

I went on a Portugal Real Food Tour with our tour guide, Isabel Chaves, she was brilliant, professional, efficient, experienced, competent, and had a high level of knowledge of Portugal and of the local food. She also went out of her way to find me a pharmacy and an art gallery I wanted to visit again. I would highly recommend Isabel Chaves as a tour guide for any Intrepid Tour.

One of the best trips I have ever done! A packed insight into South America in a short time but full of amazing experiences. Our leader Javier gave us the best time. Riding horses with the gauchos was a highlight for me and the falls were breathtaking.

First time with Intrepid, with my sister and we both loved the whole trip. Mr Youssef was an amazing guide who was warm, knowledgable and calm throughout the trip. At times accommodation was basic but clean faclities, that the spectatular food and scenery made up for it. Seeing snow in the High Atlas and having a night is the beautiful desert, this trip highlighted the diverse landscape of stunning Morocco.

The content of the tour was great but we felt disappointed by the lack of effort to bring the group together and some poor planning throughout. The tour leader provided good information about culture and society but often at the wrong times, for example we were told about the food differences between the north and south only when we’d arrived in the north and left the south so didn’t have the opportunity to compare. We weren’t told about local food specialties and spent a lot of our spare time researching our own activities and restaurants as the recommendations were either poor quality or not value for money. The tour didn’t have the group dynamic and vibrancy that we expected - it’s within the ‘explorer’ category with physical rating of 3 out of 5 yet we had someone in the group with a walking stick. I mean not offence and of course have nothing against those that need support, but this tour was not appropriate for older people with limited mobility when they are so heavily dependent on the tour leader and other group members to carry luggage, get on and off transport. We were often waiting for people to catch up when walking around towns/cities, the tour felt very slow paced and low energy. I think Intrepid should have encouraged an alternative more suitable, slower paced tour. At the homestay we waited 2 hours to start a bike ride that was a total of 20 minutes long and weren’t informed about a swimming pool being available so some of the group didn’t have swimwear prepared and missed an opportunity. The craft workshop was also not available during the homestay visit which we found out last minute, seems like poor planning and felt like we wasted a lot of time. The tour leader made no effort to give us any alternative activities and instead stayed in her room the whole afternoon.

This is our 3rd trip with Intrepid and they never disappoint us! The Guides are knowledgable and always willing to help maximize your experience! Their itinerary is precise and transportation is always on time and very reliable! I especially like that they give back to the communities they visit by bringing tourist groups to learn the way of life where ever you may be in the world!
