Our tour was amazing. Houssin our guide was inspiring, passionate about his country and friendly, sensitive to the different personalities in the group. He was approachable and helped with all inquiries, no matter how small. Houssin also facilitated our dinners and different requirements. He developed a real rapport with our group. Local guides were articulate and informative.
We had a great tour with 'Seen' our Tour Leader who made everyone feel so welcome. 'Seen' continued this throughout our Trip giving us so much information on all destinations and looking after our welfare. Additionally all the Support Team worked hard to keep us safe, well feed and hydrated always with a smile. So many wonderful memories, good laughs with other Team bike members and new friendships forged. Thank you Intrepid, Dave
Having never been to Turkey previously and as a first time user of Intrepid, we had an amazing tour. We did the Turkey Encompassed tour which was led by Mali who was so knowledgable, a great tour leader and gave us a fantastic insight into the country. Being in a small group was great and so many highlights, would recommend this tour and Intrepid.
Fantastic trip, I have lifelong wonderful memories. Beautiful places, brilliant captain, a great band of fellow travellers all add up to a great week.

While this was a good trip overall, aided by a very good tour leader, it was marred by very poor organisation pre tour and some questionable hotel choices. The poor organisation included incorrect pick-up and transfer information for arrival at the airport. But worst of all was the tour start hotel. Prior to our arrival in Venice it had changed 3 times and the last advice to us and our fellow travellers was also wrong. It was only after I the EU help desk and waited half an hour that I was advised of a 4th hotel which turned out to be the correct one. But to get to it we had to drag our luggage across the busy tourist part of Venice. This makes it impossible to book extended pre and post tour accommodation with any confidence. During the tour itself there seemed to be one late hotel change as well. While the hotels were generally good, the group was allocated a mix of good and poor rooms something that should be addressed by Intrepid. One hotel was pretty disorganised and often essential items (towels, soap etc) were missing from some rooms. Overall this detracted from the experience, particularly compared to a previous Intrepid tour. After my review was posted, I got the automated reply from Intrepid and an email but not actual response or action.

The trip Türkiye Encompassed was excellent, well planned and beautiful but undoubtedly our guide Taylan Kaan Güven made it so very, very good, full of information, fun and kindness. I would recommend it for everyone.

It was a wonderful. Our tour leader Artemis was great!!! To interact with the locals. To stay in small hotels is the best. I’ve travelled with Intrepid in the past and will in the future. It’s the best!!!!

It was a trip of a life time. It was so nice to actually meet the people and learn about their cultures. Our guide Hassan was the best. The guides on the sites were informative and interesting. I had difficulty getting up at 6 to be on the road at 8 but that's because I'm a night person. The time of year was perfect. The temperatures were in the low 20 degrees C. I’ve just come back from my third trip with Intrepid - China highlights. It was fantastic lot of travel but we covered a lot of ground the guide was great and had a plan B for the day when Beijing had a typhoon and our train from Xian was cancelled (so we saw pandas instead!). Still got to the Great Wall at sunset which was probably the highlight or equal to seeing the terracotta warriors which I’ve wanted to see for years. Jaypro our guide also helped me get tickets to Chairman Mao which wasn’t part of the tour, so he went above and beyond to help. Fantastic trip I will definitely go back to China, and I’m already looking at where my 4th Intrepid trip will be.

We’ve just completed overland trip from Zanzibar to Vic Falls via Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe. What a great trip with incredible crew too. Good food, tents and itinerary. We had such a blast. So much to see and share with like minded travellers. Intrepid are a great company and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Well done to our crew MJ, Henry and Rasta. You guys are an asset to the company.

We did a tour of Cambodia with Intrepid. It was our first organised tour (we are in our 50s) and we loved it. Our guide Saram was terrific, extremely organised and kept us fully informed at all times. He also shared so much about the culture and history and was always truly concerned with our experience and happiness. We met some other wonderful people and would definitely use Intrepid again!

This 24-day adventure from Darwin to Perth was an amazing and EPIC adventure!! Darwin to Broome - The terrain, wildlife and places visited through The Kimberley, along the Gibb River Road, have to be seen to be believed! There were a number of additional excursions that we could do (at our own cost) and the tour leader ensured that we were at the appropriate destination at the right time. She knew the land and terrain like the back of her hand, and her close connections to the local people enabled the group to get a much better appreciation and understanding of how to interact with them and so enhance the cultural aspect of this trip. She also went out of her way to ensure that each traveler had maximum opportunity to maximize their own experiences throughout The Kimberley, from the swimming holes through to hiking up and over some of those waterfalls and swimming holes. Highlights for me on this leg were the Bungle Bungles (chopper flight was amazing and so much fun, Manning Gorge and Lake Argyle (sunset cruise was fantastic!!). Broom to Perth - the amount of distance we covered on this leg just goes to show how vast and diverse WA really is. From the beautiful coastlines to the rugged gorges and canyons of the Pilbara, there was something for everyone. Our Tour Leader's knowledge was second-to-none and, like our Tour Guide for the first leg, ensured that each traveler could maximize their own experiences. He prepared us well in advance for the challenging terrain to ensure we could get maximum value out of the gorges we hiked through. He ensured that everyone had as much leisure time as possible and welcomed assistance from the group when it came to ensuring all ran as smoothly as possible. He also ensured that all travelers who undertook additional excursions (again at their own cost) got to their respective locations on time. Highlights for me on this leg were Ningaloo Reef and the Whale Sharks, Karijini National Park and Kalbarri National Park. Many of the group went swimming with the Whale Sharks and all had beaming smiles on their faces at the end of the day. I went up in a plane on a 90-minute excursion around Ningaloo Reef and it was, for me, THE HIGHLIGHT of the entire journey. This trip certainly takes you out of one's comfort zone, whether it be setting up tents and makeshift kitchens in the middle of nowhere, but the experiences and memories you capture will stay with you and you will always look back on these with fondness and bring a smile to your face. This trip, in my opinion, is AMAZING VALUE FOR MONEY!! Thank you again to Intrepid and the team for an amazing and EPIC adventure!! Looking forward to the next one!!

We've done about 6 world tours now and have found this Turkey Highlights Tour to be one of the best. Our Guide Furkan Kusi was exceptional. His welcoming smile, wealth of knowledge, friendly, polite and courteous manner made him stand out from all other Guides we've encountered. The itinerary surpassed.all our expectations. We've seen Istanbul, Troy, Selcuk and Cappadocia to name a few. The itinerary was so well organised with additional excursions if we wanted them. Each hotel was fabulous, meals excellent and the transfer drivers were great too. We will definitely use this company again and can't recommend them, and especially their Guide Furkan, enough
