The agent was very helpful, honest and informative. Unfortunately I was unable to get my problem resolved, through no fault of the agent. I lost wi fi connection whilst trying to resolve why I was not receiving roaming data whilst in Iceland

Major Drop Off Recently

Recently, my partner and I, both with iD have been unable to make or receive either calls or texts. People have tried to contact us and cannot get through. I can't call out. I've contacted customer service and they tell me I'm lying, but other customers are reporting the same issues. There's just no network. I'm paying for the ability to miss important phone calls. I'll be leaving iD as soon as I have time to organise a new contract.

I.D Mobile Upfront Costs

When I first joined I.D Mobile over 8 years ago I found it to be very affordable,but recently it has gone down hill,the signal is terrible, frequent outages the phone I have on contract with them has now developed a pink line down one side of the screen so I tried to get another contract for a new phone and got turned down,I have 5 more months left on my existing contract stuck with a defective phone. Just had so much trouble with this network The upfront costs are now so high I've decided I won't be upgrading and will be changing my network provider... I do not recommend this mobile phone network.

No Texts or Facetime

I don't like to give reviews like this but unfortnateley ID Mobile have left me no choice. I joined in early June 2025. I switched my number from my old contract shortly after. Since then I can receive phone calls on my old number, but can't receive any texts or Facetime due to it saying I have an 'Activation Error'. I've gone through everything to do with my phone to try and solve the issue, even speaking to an emplyee of Apple. Who suggested that I contact my network provider. So I went on to ID Mobile's chat only to be repeatedly told if I want a PAC number what I had to do. Not understanding the issue I have at all. I rang the 0800 number that ID Mobile prove only to be cut off a number of times. I was warned before moving over to ID Mobile that their customer service was poor. I can only say what my experience has been to date, and I have to agree. You don't realise how much you need your texts messages for texts from your doctors etc etc or verifying codes when you purchased items online. I used to Facetime friends and family put are now unable at the moment while I still have this 'Activation Error' issue.

Coming to the end of my contract…

Coming to the end of my contract honestly the worst experience ever with these clowns 🀑 £45.15 per month with no 5g i. Most places, barely get 2 bars. This month We had an outage for an entire day and yet they aren't reimbursing for this they want to charge you the full amount absolutely AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Avoid and check how many people are saying that their plans are not as it was promised

Avoid. They tell you that you can use your mobile data abroad and then on the first day while you are abroad they will send you a message that you have used your cap to 80%. I have asked them what did I use 80% of cap for; they can't give me an answer. Basically they said that I will pay Β£10 a month for use of data 60G and unlimited text etc but that is not true. They just gave a bill for Β£39.44 for one day of use of my data allowances in France .

I have only just registered with iD mobile, having recently bought a new mobile phone in Currys.

I have found their service to be very good so far. However for the less technical however it would be great if there was an easier way of contacting them.

Refund for unused bolt on

I bought a bolt on for Turkey for 5 days that cost Β£20. It didn't work the whole time I was there (luckily not catastrophic - I stayed in the hotel most of the time and had WiFi). I asked if they'd refund me since it hasn't worked and they did.

app seems to have bene designed by a…

app seems to have bene designed by a child. typical modern app. looks pretty, but requires several captchas and app restarts just to be able to register and log in - but a new plan, you have to put ALL your details in again - new DD, then you have to 'add' your number to the plan. half-baked app that appears to have been written by a trainee.

Very peer coverage

The availability of service for phone and data is the worst I've ever experienced locally and when travelling even though I checked service availability before buying. Leaving after the 30 days contract.
