Useless
Bought some festoon lights for outside, they were installed correctly, however they only lasted 3 weeks.
Home Bargains has room for improvement based on customer feedback. Customers particularly appreciate service and quality, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.

I visited the ashington branch. The store was airy and clean . After I selected my goods off I went to the checkout. There were a couple of ladies in front of me and they were greeted with a hello by the checkout lady called jenna. .she was friendly and polite to them and even said thank you. Then it came to my turn what a jekyll and Hyde. I got no greeting I was giving no eye contact I got no please or thank you she was only interested in getting another member of staff on the tills so was talking to her colleague while zapping my products? 2 star service and that's being generous
I visit Home Bargains earlier this afternoon in Albany Road Cardiff, 1 of your staff name Luke ( he maybe a supervisor ) wearing red shirt walked in front of me when me and my son was looking at the shelf to see what drinks to buy, what he could have done is walked behind us and he did not even say 'sorry' or 'excuse me' for doing that, I found that is kind of 'rude' attitude towards customers. You know I work in retail myself so that kind of behaviour is not acceptable.
No school cakes or giant monster munch. Absolutely raging. Not acceptable. This place is terrible.

Visited Bishop Auckland store again today but have vowed not to return. Not stores fault but disabled parking is atrocious. Disabled bays outside gym approx 12 all in use, but only 1 blue badge displayed, also a distance from stores and also those outside store are at very end of car park. Very poorly situated and totally abused.

Ok, I agree you can get good deals here but I don't like some of ways they do business. E.g. their 'special offers' aren't what they make them out to be. I saw an offer of 3 flapjacks for a quid but they don't make it clear that their blueberry one isn't in the offer so you end up paying full price (for items they probably want to get rid of). It's only a few pennies but why the underhandedness? I won't shop here for 6 months so they'll be losing more (monetary terms) than me.

I loved this shop since it opened but, recently I have seen dogs in the store. Surely they must be the only shop in Sunderland that sells fresh food and allow this to happen. It is an unhygienic practise and Surely should be stopped. Is there nowhere a person can go now without seeing a dog.

I have been given a voucher from my granddaughter for my birthday to get garden items. I wanted a garden chair or bird table. My local store does not stock either item Told to order online for delivery. Tried to do this but vouchers are only acceptable in store. I therefore have a voucher which is of no use other than for small everyday items.

Went into home bargains in Dudley store last week and found items with no prices to wrong prices. I purchased a lucazade 4 pack and at the till it was scanning higher then the pos price. I informed the cashier who was not bothered and said "prices all over the store are wrong" I then escalated this complaint to head office who also was unphased, the head office manager Colette was very cold and showed no compassion. She said a area manager will call me and its now been a week with no call or updates! I dont think ill get a call. This company needs closing

I bought Sanex Sensitive roll on deodorant a couple of weeks ago and went to use it the other day. The lid was full of liquid when I removed it, the roller ball hadn't been inserted into the base properly. I hadn't kept the receipt, so was unable to return it. As it was only £1.25 I wasn't that bothered. If I bought another one, I would unscrew the lid before buying it to check it was ok.
