Useless
Bought some festoon lights for outside, they were installed correctly, however they only lasted 3 weeks.
Home Bargains has room for improvement based on customer feedback. Customers particularly appreciate service and quality, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.

I visited the ashington branch. The store was airy and clean . After I selected my goods off I went to the checkout. There were a couple of ladies in front of me and they were greeted with a hello by the checkout lady called jenna. .she was friendly and polite to them and even said thank you. Then it came to my turn what a jekyll and Hyde. I got no greeting I was giving no eye contact I got no please or thank you she was only interested in getting another member of staff on the tills so was talking to her colleague while zapping my products? 2 star service and that's being generous
I visit Home Bargains earlier this afternoon in Albany Road Cardiff, 1 of your staff name Luke ( he maybe a supervisor ) wearing red shirt walked in front of me when me and my son was looking at the shelf to see what drinks to buy, what he could have done is walked behind us and he did not even say 'sorry' or 'excuse me' for doing that, I found that is kind of 'rude' attitude towards customers. You know I work in retail myself so that kind of behaviour is not acceptable.
No school cakes or giant monster munch. Absolutely raging. Not acceptable. This place is terrible.

I visited The new Faversham store Today and brought some furniture wipes and glass wipes made by power action. They are brilliant. They had a good deal on coca cola too. The staff are so friendly. I tried to find some watermelons so i asked a lovely Lady who had a Israeli accent. She said they have all gone rotten. Never mind.

I love Home Bargains really good choice and value for money. I mostly use the HB in Whitstable and all the staff there are great, but a stand out person is Paul. He always has a smile, you can ask as many questions ie where is this, where is that and he'll help with a great attitude and a smile. People like Paul are an asset to this company and shine it in a good light

Date:- Sunday16th/02/25 Time:- between 1pm-2.30pm Location:- home bargains Hanover Street Liverpool I was waiting in my car on the side of the store to pick up my friend witch she leaves right to the store and I only stopped in that spot for 3 minutes, and when I have stopped there. there is quite old women with home bargains uniform setting in her car in the same spot her car is ( BMW dark grey or dark blue) she starts shouting laod to and saying in very aggressive way you can't park her this spot onlyfor home bargains staff but there is no sign sayingthat, And I have explained to her I'm only waiting for couple of minutes in my car, Also, I told her I am on the sidewalk I am not on home barging space, And she left her car and come close to me and she told me leave or watch what's gonna happen to you?????, Then I told her I don't think you trained enough to deal with situations like that, please I'm asking you nicely to call your manager or call the police if you think I'm doing something not right,Then she took it more personal And she become a racist, She told me when you come to this country you have to follow the country roles, This is not your back home, I was very shocked, I told her why even you say that show some respect and mercy I just lost my best friend he commits suicide, Then she told me I don't care you need to leave now or watch what's gonna happen. She said that again. Then I decide to leave to avoid any Crush with her because she's not professional at all, and when I was leaving I told her I will leave you a Bad review and she laughed loud and she told me make sure you write the review in English so we can understand and laugh about it, She Breakers My Heart by saying that, I have been regular customer in that store for more than eight years, All the members of staff being lovely and friendly except of this woman. She is aggressive and racist and she shouldn't work with public.

Home Bargains is a good shop with great prices. No beef with this aspect of the company. Went to the branch in Trimdon Street, Sunderland. My Mam is disabled so I had a trolley that clips onto her wheelchair. Got to the checkouts and discovered that the trolley doesn’t fit through. Had to detach, leave my Mam and dash with the trolley to the other end of the checkouts - shop was very busy and this caused much hassle and embarrassment. Also checkout had no £1 coins - got a jangly pocket full of change. Surely you can have checkouts for the disabled - at least clearly signposted to tell customers if trolleys fit through. At present you’re not catering for your disabled customers Home Bargains.

I'm a carer and have been at the Carlisle Store many times with the people I care for but the main reason is the staff? I think they're amazing all going above and beyond to help out and the Manager Callum went out of his way to help me today, I can't thank him enough, the store always has an amazing atmosphere mainly because all the staff are so cheerful. Keep up the great work 😃 look forward to seeing you all soon xxxxx
