Heart Internet has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
Online chat support was quick and easy.
I've hosted my website with Heart for many years and recently had an email problem. Turned out to be at my client end, nothing to do with Heart, but Andrew Welsby on their support team was really hepful and managed to pin down the problem and help me sort it. I've always found them quick to provide excellent support which is why I've stayed with them for years.
Iβve been with Heart for many years, I have had to stop working recently due to ill health and had a renewal notice through a few days ago. I contacted Heart to ask if I could βreduceβ my package as I no longer needed it but wanted to keep my email addresses etc. I used the online service and had a very quick response from the customer services guy called Andrew Welsby, within a day he sorted out exactly what I needed and kept me advised as things progressed. Reminded me why I stayed with Heart for many years! Excellent service and plans at very reasonable prices. Top marks for their service and most appreciated. Thank you Heart
Quick response to my support request. Simple explanation on how to resolve. Highly recommend heart, fair play to them not had a problem with any of their services and I have sites, email and domain parking, like the fact there is no messing about and all the tech persons actually know their stuff.

What has happened to Heart Internet? Until the end of last year I was very happy with Heart Internet's shared hosting, with good customer service. However, I have had to raise several support tickets because the site is totally inaccessible or extremely slow - to the point of being virtually unusable. The usual Live Chat is "temporarily unavailable". Waiting for a response to the support ticket until the next day is so frustrating. I will be looking for a move to another company unless things improve very soon.

Reassuringly responsive, all queries were handled very effectively and fast turn around too. I ordered a few new VPS, they were up and online and ready to go. Needed to migrate some old servers, support were on point. Found a tech issue and that was resolved very quickly. Everything felt secure, reliable and professional. All round solid and stable, and as I have been with Heart for years now I can say I never questioned anything, I always had great service and uptime with them.

Website has been down all day due to a server migration that is brought on by Heart Internet. I upgraded less than a year to an all singing all dancing VPS too and now will have to probably fork out for a migration that is out of my control. I was promised it would be up and running in a couple of hours and it hasnβt happened. Support team is unresponsive and the online support chat is disabled. Iβll be going elsewhere after this is sorted for my website.

Abysmal. Got notified that all our services (over 130 websites spread across several VPSes) had to be migrated with 30 days notice. 30 days! Their proposals were less than perfect: we were losing some features (like snapshot backups) and were being forced to choose between fewer cores, memory or hard drive on nearly every instance. I begrudgingly agreed and we mounted a huge effort at our company to get everything migrated. Less than a week since the migration, one of our critical Windows dedicated servers went offline at 11pm on Friday night. It serves over 1,000 email accounts. It is now 11:50pm on Saturday (25 hours since it went down) and still nothing has happened on an urgent ticket, let alone dealt with it. Meanwhile, this is costing us a huge amount of money alongside reputational damage. As part of this ridiculously planned migration, we're not able to see any of our new dedicated servers in the account until the transition their end has finished next month. So we have critical services offline, no one responding to an urgent support ticket, live chat offline and I can't even restart the box or KVM into it because it doesn't show in their control panel yet. Completely and utterly unacceptable. We spend hundreds a month with them and have for years. As soon as we have access to our server again, I will be migrating away from this complete joke of a company. Do not trust them with anything remotely important - you'll be left in the dark when it inevitably goes wrong. I just want to add: I don't blame the people working support. When you get through, they are helpful and courteous. The problem is the management: they haven't sufficiently staffed the support team and they've evidently taken unilateral decisions about migration that I, as a devops engineer myself, am certain the data centre teams don't agree with.

My vps has been suspended apparently due to the migration taking my system offline and affecting around 50 users. The email notifying me of the vps migration said that I had until the 31st of March to migrate as my old vps would be switched off after this date and yet it has been done 10 days early. Support has not dealt with the issue and live chat is unavailable.

What's going on here Heart, I'm waiting on a ticket but can't even talk to you through live chat? The response I get is: 'as we focus on assisting customers with essential migrations, our live chat service is temporarily unavailable' You have now fixed my problem so I will reverse out of the 1 star review I gave you. You do however, need to make sure you can deliver the services you claim to offer and not drop general customer service for the rest of us, to give priority to selected customers. Phil.

Going down Hill fast. Has there been a change at the top? Restrictions on speed and data transfer making life hard. Websites now load slowly. Requests for help are slow to be responded to and often not that helpful. Looks like its time to move provider after 20 years unless things improve.

Absolutely fuming with this outfit. I got 30 days notice that I have to move all my websites to another VPS server, no small feat and has (and still is) costing me time and money. New server - removed snapshot backups which was included, no doubt they will want more money when they do offer them Asked for a refund as they were cancelling my existing service and they refused. Last time Heart ran their own VPS servers they went down more times than a (insert unpolitically correct saying here) Before, they farmed them out to one of the big players (godaddy?) up until now and uptime was 100%. Edit... seems like no support out of hours - tried to rebuild the server and still waiting after over 10 hours. I wont be renewing or recommending Heart to anyone.

What a joke of a company ... "an expertly trained and ever-sympathetic support team that can be contacted 24 hours a day, seven days a week. " I was with Heart Internet for 15 years but in the past 12 months they have gone massively downhill, I have domains that are business-critical and I cannot renew them due to Heart Internet's platform not working, I have raised support tickets, requested an updated every date for a week and receieved no response, no telephone support. Absolute joke of a company.
