As a lover of most of Greggs products…

As a lover of most of Greggs products disappointed to buy a pack of 4 chocolate caramel slices and ind not only the packaging but the recipe has clearly changed! Chocolate topping was thinner and didn't taste the same or as nice/ the biscuit tasted far more sugary and disintegrate when eating. Bad move on such a great product unlikely to buy again!

Greggs have no interest in British…

Greggs have no interest in British Foods or Culture. Greggs Sausage Rolls in 2025 only contain 18 percent Pork! They used to be made with 72 percent Pork but Greggs chosen to scrap British Culture and Foods like Pork, Chilli Beef Slices and Ham Salad Baguettes. Greggs factory in Bradford/Leeds were secretly making Ham Salad Baguettes with Beef and added sodium to make it taste like Pork and they were caught red handed by people they recruited to see why Greggs Sausage Rolls have declined in sales and made people in Belgium come down with food poisoning! Greggs would rather sell Curry Vegetable Pasties over their own countries culture and food of Chilli Beef Pasties (which are 47 percent cheaper to make) than Curry Vegetable Pasties. Another British company going down hill and what could be worse? Greggs South Asian staff barred white British customers asking for Pork Sausage Rolls and Ham Salad Baguettes in Greggs Stores claiming in Islam Pork is prohibited and Greggs will be adapting their laws! Greggs have cracked up like eggs-grrr-eggs! Humpty Dumpty will never save his soul for this stupid company that neglects its own countries foods and culture!

Greggs, 88 High St, Bromsgrove-Placed an order through Just Eat for…

Placed an order through Just Eat for Greggs. Items were missing when order was delivered. Contacted through Just Eat, was promised a partial refund, but have not received. There is no way to chase this up through Just Eat as you cannot contact them after 24 hours from when the order was placed.

Greggs “Apple Danish” – A Culinary Identity Crisis

The Greggs ‘Apple Danish’. Or at least, that’s what the sign said... Expecting buttery pastry, cinnamon-kissed apples, maybe a flaky nod to something vaguely Scandinavian. What I got instead was a bit of a mystery. First let’s talk about the texture – imagine an iced finger and a bread roll had an awkward one-night stand, and their illegitimate offspring was raised in a budget bakery in slough with no clear sense of its danish cultural heritage. It’s not quite soft, but not pastry-soft. Sweet, but not dessert-sweet. It sort of chews like a large fig roll, minus the fig. The apple? I think there is some sort of fruit-like substance involved. It’s got the essence of apple in the same way a scented candle smells like “pumpkin spice” – close enough for a sniff, but don’t bite it expecting the real thing. As for the Danish part – I assume that refers to the fact someone has doused in icing, because it sure as hell isn’t buttery, flaky or remotely pastry-like. I’m not sure what I ate. Was it breakfast? A dessert? A cry for help wrapped in some baked stuff with icing? 5 stars for confusing treats , 1 star for being remotely Danish.

You can't cancel an app order

I put the wrong collection date on my app order notice almost immediately on placing the order. On trying to cancel the order found out you can't. The order will be picked on the day and thrown away when nobody turns up for it. This is ridiculous. Must do better Greggs.

Greggs Hemel Hempstead in the Marlowes…

Greggs Hemel Hempstead in the Marlowes not one piece of hot food behind the glass at 8am. Had to throw my sausage roll away and go to their competitor down the road. This is a regular occurrence too.

Less fresh more ultra processing

Used to quite like Greg‘s staff are always very helpful and the places generally clean. My issue is that everything seems to have hundreds of ingredients in now like look at the back of a sandwich or you have to go online to find the ingredients in a doughnut, but it’s tens and 1010s of ingredients Most of them you can’t even pronounce it’s a shame they aren’t leaning towards quality over ultra processed Long shelf life cheaper ingredients

Went on a Greggs branch to get some food today and I left the premises very disappointed The only money I had on my wallet was a £50 note which the person serving said only £20 notes are accepted There’s no sign mentioning that at all I will not be going back to Greggs ever

Frustrating app, frustrating policies, frustrating firm

Greggs and this store in particular have to be the most frustrating bakery around today. The Greggs app is such a con… whenever I’m due a reward, apparently it’s “not valid on that particular item”. Whenever I want a HOT sausage roll, they tell me they’re not allowed to reheat… but they have a hot counter 😂😂 so why not put a load on the hot counter! On the days when I feel like going for something else, the queue is a mile long, which in itself isn’t an issue, but they only have 2 people working and only 1 of them is serving. As I say, a very frustrating firm that could be AMAZING if they made a few common sense changes that are in favour of the customer. At the moment it feels like a load of people at head office are sat around discussing how they could make it a little more difficult for people to like Greggs. Come on Greggs, get savvy 🙏

Worst shop for service

Greggs sell some nice food, but have become increasingly expensive over the last 2-3 years. My grandson particularly likes the chicken goujons which usually come out at about 11.00am. However they must be one of the worst shops for getting people served. I was waiting in a queue of people at my nearest Greggs the other day. Two people were serving at the time and the queue was going down quite nicely, but then one of the people serving disappeared into the back of the shop. There was no real need I don't think to stop serving. I do not think anyone was waiting for anything to come out of the ovens and there seemed to be plenty of food available in the counter area. This happens very often at other stores and is very annoying. Please get the customers served, not mess about around the back when it's not necessary.

Cwmbran branch

I visited the Cwmbran branch (the new) one right next to Primark, I ordered some foods then asked for decaf caramelised biscuits latte and the shift manager said she can’t offer ‘decaf’ because there was no option on the till, so I was shocked and not happy at all with her replied. I think she need to go on training again as she was not helpful at all, not going to that branch ever again in the future.
