My elderly parents had a slow dripping leak on their Boiler that had been fitted by 'GAIR GAS'. After several visits and very poor workmanship, a 'singular' slow leak turned into multiple major leaks!!! Which in turn, led to a new Boiler being required. The new Boiler was poorly fitted and this also leaked. A new flu was also fitted poorly and looked absolutely awful!!! The above took several weeks and several unsuccessful visits, showcasing poor and uncaring management/service to 'very loyal' customers of theirs. Furthermore, we realised that their monthly charge for 'Boiler Cover' was over double what other professional and 'trustworthy' companies charge and my unaware parents had faithfully paid this for many, many years! GAIR GAS used to be a nice family run company, that cared for its clients... sadly, they have turned into a larger company who care about profit and NOT their loyal clientele.
Had some plumbing repairs done on my old bathroom, not hard stuff, very reasonable price and they moved things around to get the bathroom working quicker for us.
They replaced my back boiler with a self condensation boiler in a new position. Great service very neat and tidy.

I would like to commend you on how you have carried on supporting clients during this lockdown. We have had your engineers out to us several times over the last three weeks due to recurring problems, they have always been on time, very experienced and very professional. Rich today observed careful distancing, was efficient in his work and left zero mess. I cannot commend Gair Gas highly enough, it is reassuring having professional gas services engineers in the area.

I have no hesitation in recommending this company. Andy is friendly and professional. He gave a fair price and made some great suggestions that we took up. Jamie and his apprentice Archie did a great job. They were friendly, answered my questions about what they were doing and left everything neat and tidy at the end of each day. The Vaillant ecoTec Exclusive boiler with ambiSense TRVs is probably the best smart heating system on the market. Honest. It really does do everything I wanted and that was a big ask. Andy cares about the service his company provides and did a follow up visit to check everything was OK. I look forward to them servicing this system in the coming years.

It was an emergency call out on a saturday morning I had to call an engineer on an emergency hotline ,he was so helpful he told me what time he would be there .he arrived and imediatley diagnosed a faulty PCB board he had a spare on board and fixed it .His name was Callum and the boss Andy Gair should be very proud of him as he only qualified last year . Thank you Gair gas your Gold Cover is well worth it at Β£13 a month .This is an excellent company I recommend anyone in the Southampton area to look at them

Great service. I reported a programmer/timer problem which on investigation showed the device to be faulty and obsolete. Engineer Pete replaced the part with a modern equivalent. We have the 'gold' plan and thus since the part was replaced under the plan we saved Β£160. Pete demonstrated excellent knowledge and expertise and I will continue to recommend Gair . Thanks

Our boiler packed up on Sunday and called an engineer who was unable to attend due to storm Dennis, but was called first thing Monday morning to arrange a visit. An engineer duly arrived and ascertained what the problem was but did not have the spare part which had to be ordered. Turned up next day and boiler promptly fixed - hooray! The care plan meant we had nothing to pay - hooray again!

Absolutely amazing service as always from Gair gas. I have had a cover plan for about 18 years and never had anything but A1 service. A recent call out for my boiler, that had stopped working, was fixed within a day by Matt Whitfield, who annually services our boiler. He is always polite and efficient. The office staff are straight on the case from the moment you call. Matt was here within hours and the part was replaced, all under our cover plan. It is such a personal service, that I just know would not be delivered by bigger companies such as British Gas. Thanks again, I shall keep on recommending Gair Gas to all my friends.

1st class job although Matt who usually deals with solar was off (I think) we had David, who was not only calm and polite, but extremely efficient and very tidy. Very impressed with his knowledge, expertise and problem solving. He dealt with Southern Water (stopcock problem identified) and Nest (configuration problem) for us when needed. Would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. I will be looking to purchase a servicing plan from them as they were so good

Great service from the initial survey and quote, through to installation and even the follow up. Andy our surveyor was able to make great suggestions based on our requirements. The installation kept to the times they advised and the work was very neat and tidy. It is great to use a local business for local work. I would highly recommend Gair and the team.
