My elderly parents had a slow dripping…
My elderly parents had a slow dripping leak on their Boiler that had been fitted by 'GAIR GAS'. After several visits and very poor workmanship, a 'singular' slow leak turned into multiple major leaks!!! Which in turn, led to a new Boiler being required. The new Boiler was poorly fitted and this also leaked. A new flu was also fitted poorly and looked absolutely awful!!! The above took several weeks and several unsuccessful visits, showcasing poor and uncaring management/service to 'very loyal' customers of theirs. Furthermore, we realised that their monthly charge for 'Boiler Cover' was over double what other professional and 'trustworthy' companies charge and my unaware parents had faithfully paid this for many, many years! GAIR GAS used to be a nice family run company, that cared for its clients... sadly, they have turned into a larger company who care about profit and NOT their loyal clientele.
Reasonable priced plumbing repairs
Had some plumbing repairs done on my old bathroom, not hard stuff, very reasonable price and they moved things around to get the bathroom working quicker for us.
New boiler
They replaced my back boiler with a self condensation boiler in a new position. Great service very neat and tidy.

Excellent service all round.
Excellent service all round. We had a new boiler fitted. Andy did the initial quote - he was knowledgeable, professional and clearly cared about his company and the service it provided. He explained all the boiler options and gave a competitive quote. Wes fitted the boiler a few days later - he did a great job and left everywhere clean and tidy. Andy then came back to check the work and make sure everything was ok. All round top class service - thank you.

What a great experience from the start to the finish, Had a boiler fitted by the Gair team. What a credit they are to your company. Punctual, polite and very professional I would not hesitate recommending them if you are thing of any gas work.

I think they're appalling
I think they're appalling. To join one of their service plans we had to have full inspection of the system and the initial boiler service with them which we did and everything was in working order with no issues of whatsoever. The boiler, the hot water tank and all the valves are newish, the only comment from the engineer was the radiators are old although all are in good working order with no problems. Paid for the initial service separately, although it should be covered by the plan but they said not the first service, and waited two weeks to know whether they will cover the central heating system. Finally after two weeks they decided they can only cover the boiler as the radiators are old despite the fact they're all perfect condition and working order. This come after our current plan with the previous provider has expired which we did not renew as we thought we will be covered by GairGas which was recommended to us as a good local company and we had no issues in the past seven years coverages by different suppliers. I don't know why we had to do the boiler service with them in first place as all what they needed to do just do a quick system inspection without paying for a service and they could have given us the answer whether they will or will not cover the system there and then without the two weeks delay, however, doing it this way they would not have got the £60.00 service fee which we'll have to do again with another provider to cover the system, so makes you wonder is this just a scam!

I had to have the old boiler replaced…
I had to have the old boiler replaced along with some other minor plumbing jobs that needed doing at the same time. The quotation for the work was sent out promptly and the cost was very reasonable. The works were carried out by a plumber and apprentice. They worked very hard and managed to replace an additional radiator within the time allowed for the original job. They worked late to ensure the new boiler was operable at the end of the first day and left the house clean and tidy when the project was complete. I would recommend Gair Gas and will be using them for the future maintenance of the boiler.

Gair Gas thank you so much, everyone so professional and helpful. Always prompt when needing there help, unfortunately this time boiler had to retire. By next day had quote sorted and finance sorted Andy so helpful with this thanks. Without asking they called to say the juggling jobs around to get to us sooner as no heating or hot water amazing. Work started few days later, Harry and Jamie great guys professional, polite, helpful and cheerful working carefully and cleanly. Job completed and working great, couple days later Andy came round to check everything was ok was amazed by this. Thank you Gair Gas, Andy and team for making this a painless experience.

I needed a replacement part as my hot…
I needed a replacement part as my hot water had stopped working. I was telephoned as soon as the part had arrived and a timeslot was scheduled for the next day. The engineers arrived promptly and stayed until my hot water was working again. They were very polite and left the areas they had been working in neat and clean.

Totally Impressed by GairGas.
We were looking to replace our old combi boiler (in the kitchen) with a new system boiler and unvented 300 litre hot water cylinder (commonly known as a megaflow). The challenge was that we wanted the new boiler and hot water tank to go in the loft! Space was tight and it was a very complex and challenging installation. I must say that Matt & Zain were absolutely amazing. They were professional, polite and respectful throughout the five days of the project. They had to make the loft hatch bigger which involved cutting a big hole in the ceiling and installing a new loft ladder for better access. Radiator valves were also installed on the existing radiators and a new, larger radiator was installed in the kitchen. I was really impressed with the efficiency of GairGas. All the parts for the job arrived on the morning of the first day. Matt’s soldering is the best I’ve ever seen (I’m a retired plumber). Another important point to mention is that Matt didn’t just take the easy option when it came to connecting to the existing system. He spent time and a lot of hard work in altering the existing pipework to make it simpler and more efficient. A week after the installation, Andy the boss popped round to get our thoughts and to check that everything was working fine. I would definitely recommend GairGas to anyone needing work done. No job was too big or too small and the lads were a pleasure to have in the house. Overall an outstanding experience.

We have had a service contract with…
We have had a service contract with Gair Gas for many years. Our 22 year old boiler stopped working on Monday and within hours of a request for an engineer to call Josh was on our doorstep! He tried to fix the problem but it was decided that we would have a new boiler. By Friday night the new boiler was working and with the minimum of fuss. We are so impressed with the efficiency of the company and their representatives Josh and Zain do them great credit. We would not hesitate to recommend Gair Gas.
