My elderly parents had a slow dripping leak on their Boiler that had been fitted by 'GAIR GAS'. After several visits and very poor workmanship, a 'singular' slow leak turned into multiple major leaks!!! Which in turn, led to a new Boiler being required. The new Boiler was poorly fitted and this also leaked. A new flu was also fitted poorly and looked absolutely awful!!! The above took several weeks and several unsuccessful visits, showcasing poor and uncaring management/service to 'very loyal' customers of theirs. Furthermore, we realised that their monthly charge for 'Boiler Cover' was over double what other professional and 'trustworthy' companies charge and my unaware parents had faithfully paid this for many, many years! GAIR GAS used to be a nice family run company, that cared for its clients... sadly, they have turned into a larger company who care about profit and NOT their loyal clientele.
Had some plumbing repairs done on my old bathroom, not hard stuff, very reasonable price and they moved things around to get the bathroom working quicker for us.
They replaced my back boiler with a self condensation boiler in a new position. Great service very neat and tidy.

Alex came as promised to check under sink drip, and kitchen tap dripping, repaired underneath drip,same day ordered new 3way tap for sink and came to replace it 2weeks later, it was more expensive than I would have liked but good job done,

**Extremely Disappointing Experience with Gair Gas HomeShield Plan** I can't express my profound disappointment strongly enough after my recent encounter with Gair Gas and their HomeShield Boiler plan. This company's lack of professionalism and utter disregard for customer satisfaction has left me absolutely appalled. Despite my compliance with every request, Gair Gas denied me access to their HomeShield coverage. This decision came without conducting the property inspection, which, by the way, they originally insisted on as a prerequisite for the HomeShield plan. Additionally, as per their request I also provided a Gas Safety Check certificate that was both up to date and not older than three months. Upon receiving these documents, they inexplicably, and seemingly without any logical basis, denied me access to their HomeShield coverage, despite me having a brand new boiler installed only 1 week ago! Their excuse? They claimed they couldn't meet my "high expectations." But in reality, my expectations were quite reasonable β simply a reliable home protection plan with no demands on any discounts or waivers. When I sought clarification, their response was nothing short of infuriating. They hid behind vague policies, offering no real explanation for their refusal. It's abundantly clear that their customer service is subpar, and their communication is a train wreck. Let my experience serve as a caution to anyone considering Gair Gas for their services. If this is how they treat prospective customers, I can't even begin to imagine what their service would be like once they have your money. Do not waste your time or money on Gair Gas. Their customer service is abysmal. Take your business elsewhere if you value professionalism, transparency, and respect.

This is the second time we have used Gair and on both occasions they have been very helpful from initial visits through to completion of our projects. The work to redesign and replace the bathroom was carried out with great care and thoroughness and we are well pleased with the result. One very minor problem was dealt with expeditiously.

Boiler service was due and I received a letter asking me to telephone the office to make and appointment which I did. I was able to make the appointment at a mutually convenient time with plenty of choice. I was messaged the morning of the service to say the Engineer was on his way. Service carried out in a timely fashion and my kitchen was left as it was found. The whole process worked as it should! I have only recently moved over to Gair Gas and have found them to be as I would want, helpful, efficient, courteous and no hold music - hurrah!! I try to support local businesses and it is really paying off with Gair Gas. Thank you Gair Gas you have made one aspect of my my life much easier.
