I have used FreeTV a couple of times…

I have used FreeTV a couple of times now, always a prompt delivery and followed up with excellent customer service, I cannot find fault with them and would thoroughly recommend.

Free TV is not trusted

Free TV is not trusted. It locks up my Roku and Amazon TV's, and takes forever to fix. I do not recommend it to my worst enemy. Don't download it folks.

"I've had mixed experiences with Free TV. The product quality has been solid, and I’ve found the staff helpful when seeking advice, especially for Saorview setups in tricky areas. However, delivery times can be inconsistent, and customer service isn’t always easy to reach. While the gear works well, there’s room for improvement, both in service and expanding content options. Overall, a decent option but not without its flaws."

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service - had problems with the product ordered - was then told different things from different customer service reps regarding the product in question, ie that I needed a different product; that the original product was in fact the correct product after I spent money returning the product as advised. Obvious communication problems between staff, and between staff and customers. You don't know who you're talking to because they don't sign off with a name but a general copy and paste instead. Would not recommend.

Is Free tv really free!

Free tv is free! There are upfront costs which I expected, antenna, box for channel guide, rushed installation ( not how I wanted to install Ethernet cable but did not want to take the time to do it right); the channel guide box needed a small disk drive that can not be disconnected (wasted $60) as I do not record any shows from antenna because right back to regular tv (I see 53 stations but only watch 4 (all news channels). It is ok if you really like very old tv shows but only 4 or 5 maybe worth watching, some have very weak signals and many not in English.

Modern Humax Boxes - Not like They Used to Be!

In May this year I bought a Humax Freesat Box to replace our really old model which had finally retired. I’m definitely feeling this was a big mistake! All was good for the first month, then the remote control started to play up. Then the box itself developed faults. The box went back to Freetv to be tested twice. Each time said they couldn’t detect any faults. The first time it was returned to us, but showed all the same problems. The second time Freetv sent us a new replacement box, although they said they still couldn’t find any faults. Strange! We had asked for our money to be refunded after the box went back to them the second time. We requested this as they hadn’t managed to fix the faults the first time it was in their repair shop. However, they ignored this request and posted us out the replacement box. I have complained to them about this procedure several times all to no avail. They have simply ignored all my attempts to get in touch. We are now in the same position again. About a month after the replacement Humax Box was delivered to us, the remote control is very difficult t use. This replacement box has been very noisy from the start too. I have tried to get in touch with Freetv for three days now, but so far have had no response to my concerns. You may grasp from this review that I am not happy. You are correct!

FreeTV.ie bad experience

Made a couple of purchases in the past from FreeTv.ie which went well - but for me the sign of a good company is how they deal with you when there are problems with your purchase. This company failed miserably to deal with a reported fault with the last purchase that I made with them and did not honour their commitments to refund, repair or replace the equipment they sold to me. The product they sold to me did not work properly and the company would not help me and refused to accept they had any responsibility for the problems. Very unhappy with my treatment and personally would not recommend that anyone use this company.
