They charge you a subscription fee automatically without you ever signing up for it and make some long winded bs way of going through their site cramming their product subscription down your throat to get your refund back, we will see if I even get the refund back…

Scammed by the scam detector

They sell a product to help you avoid being scammed, and then scam you themselves by signing you up for a long subscription and making it very difficult to cancel it. Very disappointed.

My car as originally stated 2014 v8 4.4…

My car as originally stated 2014 v8 4.4 diesel. Assured the unit would work. My model IS NOT LISTED. My car has varioud warning lights yet Fixd says no issues! Email after email not meaningful response. I will persue for Full refund.

Started to research because ad sounded…

Started to research because ad sounded too good to be true. When the ad doesn't tell you about having to purchase the app and the google play page doesn't tell you the price up front, it's not that great of a deal. OBD readers are inexpensive at stores and you can stop at some car parts places and they will use their OBD reader for free(always recommended before going to a garage). Not going to say waste of money, but a LOT of misdirection and lack of information unless you hunt it down.

Potential problems and solutions explained = money saved

I am a woman who knows from experience that there are many mechanics who try to take advantage of people they think don't know much about automobiles. I read somewhere (sorry - can't remember exactly where) about your system and, after much online research, decided to give it a try. This is the second time I've purchased FIXD. The first time - a couple of years ago - I bought 3: one each for a daughter, a son, and myself. We all found the system to be very helpful, and, frankly, it's comforting to know it's there in case something happens and we want to understand a little bit about an issue before taking the car to a mechanic - or, better yet, to avoid having to take the car to a mechanic. One issue that stands out in my mind - and convinced me that FIXD is well worth the money - is when I had an idiot light illuminate in my Toyota 4Runner. The FIXD system explained the issue and suggested causes. My only complaint is that the narrative started with the more scary (expensive) sounding scenarios, but then finished with - check your gas cap! Sure enough - I learned that with my car, if you turn the gas cap too far it actually loses the seal, and causes the error. That one experience sold me on FIXD, so this year I bought systems for my granddaughter, another daughter, and for my second car,

One star is far too much

Absolute joke. It’s a pity you have to give one star. These clowns are certainly not worth any. After weight for over a month. Product lost in NY post office. Notified these clowns promised to send another. Never bothered. I can’t stress enough find another product that will actually arrive from China rather than the MAGA Spams

Waste of money...

So you buy the Fixd scanner for $49. Not knowing it is really useless until you purchase a $69 app that renews automatically every 12 months for $69! Much better off just having Autozone diagnose check engine light for free!

Got a FixD because my wife & I both…

Got a FixD because my wife & I both drive cars that are on older side (10+ years). The app is easy to use and I love how it can keep us up to date on any mechanical issues for both of our vehicles.

A true life saver!

FIXD has been so helpful for me! I am by no means a saavy car person, so it's nice being able to use FIXD to help me understand what's going on with my car. The regular reminders are helpful as well so I'm always keeping up with recommended maintenance. A small price for peace of mind and understanding of my vehicle!

Awesome gadget & right there when you…

Awesome gadget & right there when you need it! I love my FIXD. I've honestly saved hundreds to thousands of dollars by knowing what repairs and maintenance are needed on my 2008 Honda. On more than one occasion I've been able to redirect the maintenance plan that the auto dealer was trying to cash in on. Thanks FIXD!
