FIXD has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and reliable, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.
They charge you a subscription fee automatically without you ever signing up for it and make some long winded bs way of going through their site cramming their product subscription down your throat to get your refund back, we will see if I even get the refund back…
Great product. I had a question and needed assistance. My email was answered promptly and the request was handled by the time they emailed. Great customer service!!
I didn't know about any subscription on this but today after having the device for 3 days I get a bill for 99.99 for a subscription.
They sell a product to help you avoid being scammed, and then scam you themselves by signing you up for a long subscription and making it very difficult to cancel it. Very disappointed.

I’ve had one on my wife’s vehicle for several months and am extremely pleased. I recently ordered one for my truck and was advised of a $99 premium cost for a year even though I was already paying a $12 monthly charger for premium. I cancelled the monthly premium and attempted to cancel the yearly premium several times and it wasn’t canceled. I like the product. It works well. But their customer service is extremely lacking.
I have requested a link to reset my password at least a dozen times. I still haven't received an email with the verification code, nor a response from customer service after contacting them. I am completely piseed of with Fixd and WILL NOT RECCOMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Took my car to mechanic he said everything was good. Took my car for oil change and they said it was making a knocking noise so I came home and used my FIXD for first time nothing came up but tire rotation.
The advertising for this product is misleading for UK/European vehicles has it will not work for these,unless it was built for the American market. The clue is in the wording for petrol (GAS). The product in itself is excellent but has said only for the USA. I have completed a weeks research into this product because I wanted one myself and found that most bad reviews were from lack of taking instruction on use of and some from not checking vehicle compatability so beware and remember will only work for American market vehicles.
Bought for my Saab and OK for that, but when I tried to diagnose a problem on my daughter's Renault, it is not on the list, (neither are other French makes) - I tried Nissan because the engine is identical, only to find the only Nissans seem to be US based larger engined cars - My car chucks out error messages from time to time because of the LPG conversion and to be fair the Fixd unit is useful for clearing those type of "false alarms" but Every one seems to be of "Major Driving Impact!" Oh well, I'll have to buy another OBD2 reader now which knows of Renault's existence!
As a senior citizen I am one that is not too quick to purchase anything on the internet. However, I am so glad that I purchased FIXD. It is so easy to use and read. I printed off the analysis that the FIXD device calculated and took it to my mechanic. He compared it to his unit and said that the FIXD device was (in his words) "spot on". Highly recommend.
