They charge you a subscription fee automatically without you ever signing up for it and make some long winded bs way of going through their site cramming their product subscription down your throat to get your refund back, we will see if I even get the refund back…
Great product. I had a question and needed assistance. My email was answered promptly and the request was handled by the time they emailed. Great customer service!!
I didn't know about any subscription on this but today after having the device for 3 days I get a bill for 99.99 for a subscription.
They sell a product to help you avoid being scammed, and then scam you themselves by signing you up for a long subscription and making it very difficult to cancel it. Very disappointed.

FIXD AUTOMOTIVE is a scam. They don’t reveal that they keep your payment info and later claim that you signed on to their premium subscription service- then out of the blue you’ll get charges for 99.99. And they make it recurring so even claiming fraudulent activity and getting a new card is not enough- they must be blocked.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Unless you are 100%sure it works with your vehicle. I purchased 2 of these for myself and my dad and they don't work on either vehicle. I have followed the instructions for the returns policy and have sent 2 requests for returns and have not received any communication what so ever. I will now have to seek further advice on how to claim my money back from this company.
Absolutely great product for the price. You can check real time diagnostic data from your app and it's really great to be able to see these in depth details about your car right from your phone for free as of October 2023. They do have an optional premium subscription service which is annual but again that is optional. This is a very valuable investment that was made and I definitely don't regret the purchase. Some of the things you can check right from the app is: A. Engine Load B. Engine Run Time C. Engine Coolant Temp D. Battery Voltage E. Fuel Tank Level F. Intake Manifold Pressure G. Ambient Air Temperature H. Oxygen Sensor Voltage I. Control Module Voltage J. Catalyst Temperature K. Fuel-Air Commanded Ratio Just to name some, there's more options. You'll get more comprehensive diagnostic data from this compact but mighty device then you would in a repair shop. This is definitely worth the purchase and yes I'm a legit customer, no I wasn't paid to leave this review, this is a genuine review, and I spent my own money on this product it was not given to me, I have not been this pleased with a purchase in a while and if I could give a 10 star out of 5 I would. I seriously like this product and it was well worth the investment. This is going to save mechanics diagnostic time, and save you from getting ripped off at repair shops, and help Do It Yourselfers diagnose repair needs. Great overall product highly recommended. Great job FIXD you have impressed me. EDIT: As of October 31, 2023 I woke up to my bank texting me to ask if I used my card for a $49.99 charge and of course I didn't because I woke up and was checking my phone. The sensor and the app itself is helpful for diagnostic information but I do not recommend using your primary card to purchase this item. Instead get an online visa gift card or go purchase one at the store and put the exact amount of your total on the visa gift card for the FIXD and use that to purchase the FIXD sensor and not give FIXED your card information that way you'll avoid any surprise "fees".
FIXD is a rare bird in that it is an honest and... good... company with a useful product. The product/service that they provide with the sensor is excellent (I have two). For people with a not-exactly-new car, it is really great to be able to understand, for example, what the check-engine light means and how quickly it needs to be dealt with. One can also track different parameters, such as engine temperature, which again helps to drive with piece of mind. In addition, they made it very easy for me to cancel my annual PRO subscription after I accidently missed the deadline for cancellation of the trial after a very busy week. Highly recommended!
