They sell a product to help you avoid being scammed, and then scam you themselves by signing you up for a long subscription and making it very difficult to cancel it. Very disappointed.
I have a fixed obd2 it said the same thing that the shop said my car would not start cause a fuel system problem but they cleared the codes. Which I could have done myself with this product. I could have saved 75 dollars. This tells you exactly what is wrong tells the code and the problem I'd recommend this to anyone.
Well just another review of what may be a good product with poor business practices, secret charges and poor response to cancel usage of their services. I have been going thru the same nightmare as many other customers with the secret $99 charge that seems to be a nightmare to stop. I finally had to call my credit card company and get a new card with a different number to stop this from continuing. They need to get their act together and provide a better cancelation of setvice process.
Ordered my device about a year ago. Honestly, I've yet to even usebit yet. I was unaware that I was enrolled in the subscription service for 99.00 annually. ( i didn't catch the charge 2 weeks later). Just 2 days ago,I did notice a 109.00 charge hit my bank from fixed. ??? I called their number, but to get a refund you must go to their website... You then click page after page, and like after link... But there's no way to get a refund... I went to my safety net of paypal and was surprised that they could offer no help. I then went to fixd website again and pulled up a chat bot. threatened to report to the bbb... REFUND!!!
I purchased this device for $19.99 on December 27, 2024. I received the device on January 4, 2925 and today I was charged $99.99 for a premium subscription which I did not sign up for. When I called customer service, a hostile agent by the name of Tiara told me that I had been AUTOMATICALLY enrolled in the program and I didn't have to sign up for it. She said it happens automatically 14 days after you purchase the device...FIXD IS A RIPOFF AND YOU SHOULD NOT BUY THIS DEVICE, EVEN AT A DISCOUNTED PRICE!!! This, in my opinion, is a perfect example of deceptive business practice. AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS!
Be very careful ordering this reader. You'll be auto enrolled in a $99 yearly subscription that most of us motor savvy folks would find not worth the cost. Why you will not get a refund is there is an option tab to not subscribe available. Don't miss that 'do not subscribe' tab.
The FIXD device appears to work as advertised. This low review is based on the FIXD's business practices. I bought the FIXD device and no extras. My credit card just got hit with a $99.99 charge from FIXD AUTO. Now I have to go thru the hassle of disputing the charge and replacing the card.
