They sell a product to help you avoid being scammed, and then scam you themselves by signing you up for a long subscription and making it very difficult to cancel it. Very disappointed.
I purchased this device for my husband as a gift only to be awaken by an alert on my phone, stating that FIXD tried to charge $99.00 to my account. I immediately cancel my card! After reading similar reviews I realize this company is a scam!
Finally a easy to use, cost effective tool, to take the guess work out of car repairs. Also preventing the consumer from being ripped off from dishonest repair shops and car dealer repair shops. Knowledge is power.

I liked when my check engine light came on. I was able to find out what was going on with fixd. I at least knew the repair shop was being honest with me. I also liked when I was checking out a car to buy. I plugged in the fixd scanner. The result was there was no problems with the car detected. The purchase of the fixd scanner was well worth the money spent.
Do not trust this company! They will bill you $99 without your approval. I had my card replaced and they found a way to charge my new card. Disgraceful business practices.
Be very careful with these people. Just care about money.
I forgot to cancel the premium program and was billed $99.99 for another year. I cancelled within seconds of receiving the PayPal notice but they’ve refused to issue a refund.
They didn’t even offer to refund 11 months.

The device had countless issues and customer service is not very responsive. Also, after attempting to cancel a $106.99 subscription charge on day later, was told that it would not be refunded.
There ad is very deceiving. I ordered ONE. The receipt showed they sent TWO and charged for both. When I checked my account it statement it showed as a REOCCURRING charge. When the package arrived I sent it back unopened. That was three weeks ago. I haven't been reimbursed even though USPS states it was dropped at the front desk. UPDATE I did finally get reimbursed.
Untrustworthy. Bought device without knowing there is a costly subscription to actually use it.
Over a year after buying the device and not signing up for the subscription, I was charged over $100.
Scam. Don’t buy.
FXD tried to charge me twice for the premium subscription I never signed up for. I HAD TO CANCEL MY DEBIT CARD TO KEEP THEM FROM CHARGING MY AGAIN AGAIN.
I scanned the QR code & it took me to fixd com/start. It wouldn't allow me to create a free account. It then forced a verification with a credit card. The screen stated "Free no charge verification." The URL and branding still matched the product I purchased so I added my visa.
When I went to the next step, an add popped up forcing me to buy a purse. I deleted my card information and closed all browsers.
Three minutes later we received two charge notifications from some other company, not FIXD!
It clearly stated no subscription was required before I purchased the device. "LIARS!
