They charge you a subscription fee automatically without you ever signing up for it and make some long winded bs way of going through their site cramming their product subscription down your throat to get your refund back, we will see if I even get the refund back…
Great product. I had a question and needed assistance. My email was answered promptly and the request was handled by the time they emailed. Great customer service!!
I didn't know about any subscription on this but today after having the device for 3 days I get a bill for 99.99 for a subscription.
They sell a product to help you avoid being scammed, and then scam you themselves by signing you up for a long subscription and making it very difficult to cancel it. Very disappointed.

Fixed charged me $99 when I hadn’t even downloaded the app. I get no response from them. I bought three units to put one in each vehicle for traveling, but my family members can’t download the app without paying for a separate subscription, even though they say you can add up to 10 vehicles on the account. If a family member has a problem but my phone has the paid-for app, what good is that? Very deceitful in their marketing and no response.
SCAM company! Purchased on sale and charged me full price and when I returned the scanner, they have yet to refund my money after countless emails to them. DO NOT BUY!
I purchased this several years ago for about $29.it didn’t tell me anything. Then sometimes later I got a debit for $99.99. I called and they cancelled it and refunded my money. Then in November they debited me again I contacted them and they cancelled my subscription but would not refund my money after first telling me they did. Now they want reply to any of my texts. I think this is a ripoff. I went to AutoZone and they did it for free and gave me a printout to take to my mechanic who fixed it. Be careful if you want to purchase one
I have had Fixd for years. I rarely use it but I have it. This year, I get an invoice without a total. Odd, right? I question that and my subscription is cancelled 'at my request'. I never requested that so I ask for proof. I attempt to log into my acct and I'm told to enter the same code four times. Fixd writes back that I don't have to worry about duplicate charges. I go to the BBB website and they are not members which is ok but then... Drumroll, their rating is an F. After the experience I have had this week, I am not surprised in the least but I'll post my review there as well. Might save somebody else the aggravation.
The product they offer is great but I never agreed to a premium membership with the company for $99 a year. I didn’t even unbox the thing and request to start a trial membership. This is just a plain bad business practice. I see I’m not the only one this has happened to.
I did not sign up for a premium member ship and they first of all charged me $51.00 then the following week changed me another $108.00 , you can not reach a person so I had to tell my credit card that this is fraudulent because it's
This product does exactly what is advertised what a money saver, and extra money saver this is.
I purchased this product and they immediately signed me up for the premium subscription and charged me another $106. I did not subscribe so this was a fraudulent charge. Buyer beware. Reading reviews I see that they do this to pretty much everybody. This is fraud.
Beware! The company automatically renews the Premium service. They refused to refund the amount charged ($105.99) when I attempted to cancel on the renewal date. I have never used the service. It might be a wonderful product but, not at all consumer friendly. Very very disappointed!
