Five Star Properties and Bliss Beach Rentals

The house is goods, but customer service is not pretty good. I called customer service several time during my stay but no one pick up. The spa hot tub didn’t clean, It still have left over towel in water and empty cup floating around. The sand on the bottom spa hot tub is still there, haven’t clean. Overall inside the house is good and clean, but need some work outside especially the hot tub.

The Enclave on 30A is a super house with a great pool and plenty of room!

Great service, quick response to questions, problem quickly resolved. Really loved my stay.

Our family stayed with Bliss Beach Rentals the week of 9/12-9/19/2020 at the Sunset at Miramar property. This was the first time staying with this rental agency and I have to say we will be back! The location of this property is ideal, gated community, access gate with a 100yd walk to the beach access. The only and I mean only winery in the Miramar/Destin area is only 4.5 blocks away (Emerald Coast Wine Cellars) and is located next to a great coffee shop (Bad Ass Coffee), Pascalli Kitchen is right next door as well with great cinnamon rolls made every morning. Ok that's enough getting side tracked....Sunset at Miramar was great even with Hurricane Sally creating three rainy/windy days. The bedrooms are a great size and you can't complain at all about the privacy with the three king bedrooms all boasting private bathrooms. The kitchen and living areas are wonderful and very easy to entertain in, we chose to cook in 4 nights out of our stay. Now for the negatives....or not so negatives...upon arrival we found some damage to the rental from previous guest, the bed frame of the King bed on the main floor was damaged and barely holding the mattress frame up, toilet roll holder in 2nd floor master was missing parts and one of the provided bikes had flat tires. We notified Bliss Beach rentals, by the time we went to bed that night the bike had been replaced, and all damage had been repaired so that our family members did not loose a moments rest. The welcome package the house comes with is great to get the guest started, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, small soaps/moisturizers, trash bags and soaps for both the dishwasher and laundry machine. Overall it was a great experience, our only real complaint is that we called to inquire about a late check out for our departure day offering to pay an additional rate (the rental property was not booked again until 9/23), we were traveling with a 3 month old newborn and our flight times got pushed back to late afternoon, we never got a response and checked out at the 10am time. We spoke with both Michelle and Mark about this and were told that they would push to inquire with management for approval, we never got a call back which would have been nice even as a basic courtesy. Nevertheless this was a minor blip on an overall great vacation and we will rent with the agency again!

The Four Waters property is beautiful !!! It has a great area to get together with your guest. The infinity pool was so relaxing. I was however disappointed that with all that amazing space they only have one shower upstairs with the 3 bedrooms.. that was unexpected.. The kitchen area was amazing. The bar area and outdoor pool made for a relaxing adventure. I complained to Five Star Properties that they needed more cleaning supplies but they said most other guest are not bothered by that 😊. Overall amazing location and beautiful oasis.

We had several issues during our stay but 5 Star was very responsive to them working around a Cat 2 hurricane

The condo is beautiful - just like the photos on-line! The kitchen is fully stocked and there is a large selection of beach toys as well. One surprise for us - there is a one-car garage! It was a blessing, as we were there when Sally blasted the gulf. There is ample space for a large group to gather and also have some alone time. The balcony overlooking the beach was our perfect hangout spot - before and after Sally!

Couple issues with property, showers and tub had black mold that we cleaned needs to be addressed. 2nd Guest room has a very strong paint odor , tried to use for a nap and it was so strong couldn't sleep. Overall cleanliness of common areas was average. Need to upgrade the food service at beach bar options

We had a great time!

I was very impressed with the customer service. I appreciated Anthonys help in finding our family a new rental when the one we originally booked was sold and removed from the lease program. I appreciated the phone calls prior to our stay as well as the call the day before checking out to ask if we had questions. Upon our arrival, we could not enter the house because we had been given an incorrect code. We could not reach anyone by phone for help. After sitting in our cars with the AC on for an hour my husband headed out to find the realty office. He did not receive a warm welcome there. After receiving the correct code, we discovered that the elevator was not working. A repairman was sent to the house, but was unable to repair the elevator until the following day. In the meantime, fourteen family members had to unload cars and carry luggage up and down three flights of stairs. Those are the reasons I gave a four star rating. The house was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for our family reunion. We hope to stay again one day.

House was awesome. In very clean condition and equipped well! We loved the pool and lake views!

This was my family’s first time visiting Destin. It was such a nice area and the house was beautiful, exactly how it looked it in the photos, however, there were a few things that changed my rating from a 5 star to a 3 star: When we arrived, the house had not been thoroughly cleaned. The beds were made with fresh linen and the kitchen was spotless but there was mold on the patio door leading out to the pool, cobwebs and debris in the corners and on the tables outside and not a single room in the house had been swept. There was sand and hair on the floors of the bedrooms and then kitchen, and dirt/dust buildup in the showers/tubs. There was dried toothpaste in one of the sinks upstairs and a used bar of hand soap on the counter. One shower upstairs did not get hot during any part of our stay. The water was always tepid and the drain did not drain properly. We also had a small run in with a neighbor, who assumed we damaged the property because someone in our family was having some trouble getting out of the garage and after she flagged down several other neighbors/guests to help out, she submitted a complaint to Five Star and they showed up without notice to inspect the house. Notice of a complaint would’ve been ideal in that situation, but nonetheless, it was handled and there was no damage. Lastly, Having on-hand instructions on how to utilize some of the amenities in house, such as lights, pool/spa controls, locks, etc would be helpful for future guests, especially first timers. By the time we figured everything out, it was time to leave. Overall, it was a nice trip.

The house was beautiful. Upon our arrival we noticed our golf cart wasn’t there so I started calling that Thursday , no one called me back, Friday morning the same thing , so finally we went to the office, and they assured us that they would send us one since the house came with it. But it was just an inconvenience to stop what u doing on vacation to hunt down something that should have been there when we arrived

We had an amazing experience. With hurricane Sally, we were so worried our upcoming trip would be ruined. Five stars to Five Star Properties for communicating with me and making the check in process an ease. We will certainly be back to the Sugar Shack. Best property I have ever stayed at in Destin in 25 years!

Villa Palazzo was stunning. We enjoyed our stay after hurricane Sally. However due to the storm the pool had debris from the storm in it. I did report it while we were there. It was a wonderful place to relax. Thanks for opening your home to visitors.

This place exceeded all expectations. The pictures did not do the home away from home justice. From the perfect private beach access to the hot tub on the porch. We were blown away by the amount of space in the kitchen and living room area. We had our wedding here and all our guests were blown away.

Amazing stay. Great customer service. We came down during a hurricane and they were still able to pull everything off exactly how we wanted it. Beautiful house too!

First off, Four Waters is a great house! Some things around the house had not been recently taken care of such as the grounds, jacuzzi did not work, soaking tub did not operate in master bath, and numerous lights were out around the house, on the porches, and outside. For the price, it would be nice that these were all taken care of. Outstanding stay though, even through the hurricane 50 miles away.

The house is amazing! The only complaint is the thought that you are getting private beach access to have your own area in front of the home is misleading. Many homes in the neighborhood have an agreement with this homeowner to use the beach front of the Verona to place their beach chairs. Be aware and understand any type of person could be sitting right next to you, loud, drunk, smokers and all! Other than this situation the house is perfect!

Don't Worry Beach Happy is a fantastic rental. Our family and friends who joined us found it modern, comfortable, and the best of both worlds in terms of having easy access to the beach as well as a private pool. We also loved how many beach toys were available for us to use. It was a nice surprise for the kids. We would happily rent again.
