We have already had our front bay windows re-done; this decided us to go further with others. We were very happy with your representative who visited, and we were happy enough to agree to go ahead with the further work.
Had a great conversation with the original visit. All options were explored and an acceptable solution was chosen. Shortly afterwards received a call to book the technical survey and then the install. The survey was quick, professional and detailed. The install was amazing. 2 fitters arrived at the time they were supposed to, conducted a quick inspection then cracked on with the install. Install complete and the fitters cleaned up after themselves, demonstrated window operation and ensured I was fully happy. I was so impressed I actually ordered a further install and received the same level of service. Iβd highly recommend.
Fantastic service from sales to survey and installation. Couldn't be happier with the results - exactly what we hoped for for our home. Two new doors and three windows perfectly fitted. Elevating the look and feel of our home as part of updating and replacing very old ones.

Mike & Peter turned up earlier than expected to do the installation, but this was a good thing as the weather turned to rain & it didn't stop! but Mike & Peter still manged to carry on with the job quickly,professionally & efficiently.
Can highly recommend this company & would use them again if I wanted the rear windows installed.

Door to door salesmen as is often the case. However, this one was not pushy in the slightest, unlike other companies I've dealt with. Gave a transparent view of costs, did not push for the sale or go through a performative series of 'discounts'. Simply gave the facts, figures, and left me to decide. I was in the market for new windows, but the timing was wrong due to imminent international travel. First adapted to push the fitting window out as far as possible and reduced the deposit amount to allow me to proceed with the purchase.
Prior to the fitting I was given a dedicated point of contact who reached out to let me know they were ready to receive any queries.
On the day of fitting I was on the other side of the world. First kept in constant contact through another designated point of contact for the works, Phil, providing me with the assurance that they were at the property and providing an update on the progress of the works.
Upon completion, I had booked a painter/decorator following experience with another company, who fitted upstairs windows several years ago which required redecorating the window boxes due to damaged plasterwork and marking of the paint around the widowboxes. The decorator informed me that the fitters, Colin and Lisa Cope, had left no traces of their good work! I was charged just the callout fee, saving me a decent sum due to not needing to repaint or fix any plasterwork.
Great work by the team and one happy customer.
Installation was excellent.
Disappointed with cost of colour choice as at time of sales visit gave us option of colours and when we changed mind 24 hours later was told of Β£470.00 extra for a different colour.
I have nothing but good things to say about this company. They kept me informed all the time. They came as arranged to fit the windows and carried out the installation very efficiently and without mess. They were pleasant and respectful and I was happy with everything. I would recommend them.
From start to finish the job was done very professionally from the lovely sales rep from Wisbech very funny , the surveyor was a nice man too but the lads worked tirelessly to get the job done have already recommended the company to a few folks so hoping they get some more work.out of it .
The installation was carried out efficiently as scheduled and the area was left clean. The new door looks fabulous! Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was I had a catflap installed in the side panel but I wasn't offered any choice and what was installed was not ideal as it needs the cat to wear a collar! My cat doesn't oblige!!
Since an appalling experience with installation (see previous review) I have received dozens of phone calls from First over mere months badgering me to buy yet more crappy services from these cowboys. On one day I received two phone calls in the space of 15 minutes! This is tantamount to harassment.
First's complaints process is about effective as a chocolate teapot. After much wrangling and time-wasting they took me off their 'contact list'. Then a local manager tried to placate me with a discount off one of the services... that his call agent colleagues had been badgering me to buy! Insensitive and stupid or what? I said to him I do not accept this and that I do not consider the complaint resolved. He promptly lied to his head office and said that he had in fact resolved the complaint!
First also appear to have no policy governing the number of people they call per day or per whatever period of time. So, in theory, a First agent could call you 30 or 40 times a day and still not get into trouble for it. Unbelievable.
This harassment, these lies and First's all-round, multi-level unprofessionalism have caused me masses of stress and wasted lots of time (I am self-employed and so time is money). Any hope of some actual compensation from these cowboys? Have a wild guess as to their response to that question.
Avoid at all costs. If you don't, it'll cost you a lot!
