We have already had our front bay windows re-done; this decided us to go further with others. We were very happy with your representative who visited, and we were happy enough to agree to go ahead with the further work.
Had a great conversation with the original visit. All options were explored and an acceptable solution was chosen. Shortly afterwards received a call to book the technical survey and then the install. The survey was quick, professional and detailed. The install was amazing. 2 fitters arrived at the time they were supposed to, conducted a quick inspection then cracked on with the install. Install complete and the fitters cleaned up after themselves, demonstrated window operation and ensured I was fully happy. I was so impressed I actually ordered a further install and received the same level of service. I’d highly recommend.
Fantastic service from sales to survey and installation. Couldn't be happier with the results - exactly what we hoped for for our home. Two new doors and three windows perfectly fitted. Elevating the look and feel of our home as part of updating and replacing very old ones.

The whole process from start to finish has been exemplary. Customer satisfaction at the forefront of there ethos. Great products, plenty of choice to.suit all tastes, good communication, I changed my install date a few times, nothing was a Hassel for this company. Every aspect has been delivered in a professional and timely manner, The installers Dave and rich. Were conscious of it being my home, they treated it like they would there own, high standards. They put up with me asking questions and left my property as they found it. What more could you ask for, first home improvement A** #quality assured, #high standards#friendly& reliable service.

Our installers Ben & Brad were punctual and worked very professionally throughout the installation. Respect was given to our property covering floors and removing shoes when requiring the use of our "facilities". They also explained the locking systems to the window & door. We are very happy with the quality of the work and materials and won't hesitate in using this company for the rest the work on our property.

Disappointed with the Sales Tactics – Felt Unethical A representative from 1st Home Improvements visited us after their initial contact via door knocking. I was looking to replace two bay windows (5 panels each). Before the visit, their head office called to confirm the appointment. During that call, I explained that a close family member is terminally ill, and as such, I didn’t want a full sales pitch, just a straightforward quote based on my needs. They assured me they understood. The salesperson who came was polite and showed us a small demonstration of the product, which looked to be of good quality, no complaints there. However, I was extremely disappointed with the pricing and negotiation tactics. I was initially quoted just over £14,000, including scaffolding. I said this was far too expensive. Then, I was asked if I’d be willing to: 1.Have a company sign in my garden 2.Allow photos to be taken of the installation 3.Permit use of these photos on social media and other marketing 4.Be available for installation within a specific timeframe I agreed to all of this and suddenly the price dropped to around £9,000. I was told this was because the salesman had access to “funding” and my agreement helped their marketing. To me, this felt completely unethical. If the job could genuinely be done for £9,000, why was I quoted £14,000 to begin with? It felt like I was being misled and potentially taken advantage of, especially considering my vulnerable situation, which I had clearly explained from the start. This kind of sales approach lacks transparency and integrity. I would have gladly supported their marketing if I had been told upfront about the true cost. But the way it was presented made me feel like I was being manipulated into accepting an inflated price first. The product may be good, but the experience left me with serious doubts about the company’s ethics and trustworthiness.

The quality of the 2 windows installed and the helpfulness and politeness of Tristan and Alison, the installers, were excellent. They worked very hard and did a good job. However, the firm messed up the time of the job. I was given a time of 8.00 am to 12.00 am back in January and I rang the office on the afternooon of 7 May to confirm the time. I was told yes, the installers would be there as promised. Having got up very early to have everything cleared, I waited but no one turned up. I spent the morning ringing the office to find out what was happening, had promises of returned phone calls which didn't happen until finally, I had a call to say that I was booked in for the afternoon. This was stressful and messed up my planned day and was very annoying. Thankfully, when the installers arrived in the afternoon (and this was not their fault) they did a very good job.

Had my front door fitted by Ryan&Oliver yesterday. I'm very pleased with the job, it was fitted in good time and was left clean and tidy. They were perlite and efficient. I'm very pleased.

Contacted first home improvements regarding a couple of issues since installation of my front door. The service engineer Jade was very friendly and polite. Fixed the issues with the front door and also spotted other issues while on site and corrected those also. Jade went above and beyond. Also giving advise and tips for the future.
