Not a good experienceI
I am surprised that anyone is able to use this agent They never answer their phones or reply to messages. Not a great or professional estate agency. I would never use them again even if they did answer their phones.
Equity Estate Agents is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service.

The sale of the property was accomplished with a high level of proficiency with a successful market strategy. They were readily available to answer all questions. I highly recommend Alfie, Darren & Matt from the Hertford Rd. office,
We chose to go with the Equity team because we really appreciated that, when they arrived to do the valuation, they were not pushy. We did not feel like we were being upsold, and they simply presented the facts. Their fee was also very reasonable, which helped confirm our decision to go with them. The marketing for our property was carried out incredibly quickly and to a very high standard. We felt they truly did our home justice. Once we accepted an offer, which thankfully happened quite quickly, we worked closely with Darren Nelson to see the sale through. We were really impressed with how clearly and promptly he communicated, and unlike our previous experiences, we felt we could genuinely trust what we were being told. Of course, buying and selling property is always stressful, but we cannot imagine another company delivering a better level of service. We highly recommend Equity, and especially Darren, to handle your sale.
Darren Nelson is one of the most professional, knowledgeable and considerate agents I have come across. A long and drawn out sale was made completely bearable by knowing Darren was on our side. Just a brilliant service.

Selling a house after a bereavement is very stressful for many reasons. Equity Estate Agents, initially valued the house for probate,at that stage I was not thinking of selling, no pressure was put on me to sell. When I decided to sell, everything was handled smoothly and efficiently,We accepted an offer within 2 wks for what I think was fair market price.Equity acted on our instructions promptly throughout the whole process, and acted with our best interest at heart through the whole process. I would not hesitate to recommend their services. 5***** all the way

Excellent cooperation. Sold 2x properties for me at a difficult time for me personally. Darren who I dealt with, was polite at all times, along with other colleagues. Would use them again and again. Thanks Darren.

Outstanding service from Jamie, I urge all to seek him out and deal with him directly. My wife and I were in a stressful hunt for our first property, and boy do we wish we had dealt with this firm at first. After countless dangling of carrot sticks from other agents.. being tossed into mortgage races.. bids and poor communication from other agents, this firm and particularly Jamie made it a dream come true for us. From last minute viewings to being readily available to answer calls and advice Jamie was a pleasure to deal with. He took away the stigma of 'not trusting agents' right away and even after securing a property was readily available for advice. A credit to Equity estate agents on hertford road, please please pass on my many thanks!!

I am updating this review on 21.07.2024, as I have more to tell. My experience with Equity Enfield Highway has been nothing short of a nightmare. Let me lay it out for you. Back in 2021, I discovered that one of their tenants was fraudulently claiming benefits while residing in Nigeria. Despite being aware of this, Equity did little to address the situation. I was left to foot the bill for solicitor fees and court fees to evict the tenant, as their staff displayed a shocking lack of legal knowledge on tenant eviction procedures. After much struggle and personal effort, I managed to evict the tenants on my own. Throughout this ordeal, the staff at Equity were not only unhelpful but downright rude. My complaints regarding race and prejudice were brushed off without any meaningful investigation. Finally, on 14 February 2024, I obtained a CCJ against all three tenants who had been living in the house. However, this victory came at a considerable cost - a conservative estimate of Β£5,087.11, and that's not even including solicitor fees and legal expenses which will now be pursued. I endured over three years of sheer hell dealing with Equity. Their incompetence, lack of empathy, and disregard for their clients' concerns are utterly appalling. I refuse to let their estate agents escape accountability. Consider this review a warning - steer clear of Equity unless you're prepared for a world of frustration and disappointment. I wish to add that Androulla, who dealt with the matters, offered zero customer service throughout this ordeal.
