I am surprised that anyone is able to use this agent They never answer their phones or reply to messages. Not a great or professional estate agency. I would never use them again even if they did answer their phones.

A great selling experience
We chose to go with the Equity team because we really appreciated that, when they arrived to do the valuation, they were not pushy. We did not feel like we were being upsold, and they simply presented the facts. Their fee was also very reasonable, which helped confirm our decision to go with them. The marketing for our property was carried out incredibly quickly and to a very high standard. We felt they truly did our home justice. Once we accepted an offer, which thankfully happened quite quickly, we worked closely with Darren Nelson to see the sale through. We were really impressed with how clearly and promptly he communicated, and unlike our previous experiences, we felt we could genuinely trust what we were being told. Of course, buying and selling property is always stressful, but we cannot imagine another company delivering a better level of service. We highly recommend Equity, and especially Darren, to handle your sale.
Exceptional and caring service
Darren Nelson is one of the most professional, knowledgeable and considerate agents I have come across. A long and drawn out sale was made completely bearable by knowing Darren was on our side. Just a brilliant service.

The Hertford Road branch have staff who are professional, yet approachable and kind. They have all been with us every step of the way, with our sale - and we would recommend Equity Estate Agents for the fantastic service they have given us. Generally a very positive experience
Generally a very positive experience. We felt there was a lack of coherence across the sales team, which meant that we felt we had to explain things or answer the same question on multiple occasions to different people. This could be just a poor chain of communication at the other end. Otherwise we were generally impressed by the professionalism, the work the team did to secure a buyer and negotiate the price and we were most pleased with the way in which the Sales Progressor, Claire, kept the chain intact even under rather challenging circumstances.

I initially instructed an online Estate…
I initially instructed an online Estate Agent to sell my property on the basis cheapest was best!. Unfortunately, after my property was on the market for a few months with no contact or assistance from the online Agent i decided to follow my family's advice and instruct Equity Estate Agents, who family members had used in the past and had a good experience with. My property sold within 8 days and I secured a higher price and my sale completed in two months. I was kept updated throughout, and the Estate Agents were very knowledgeable and they took the stress away from me. I've learnt that cheapest isn't always best and that you really do get what you pay for, I have recommended a work friend to Equity already,

My sale took over 7 months due to the vendor only being able to move after this period of time. Throughout this time Equity kept me fully informed and up to date with the process.
