Remortgage

Used Enact to remortgage. Pretty smooth process, kept informed throughout. Got a response via the messaging option when needed and got through on the phone every time I called. Would use Enact again.

Great experience, could have been better had I read my emails

Process was pretty smooth no issues or problems, completed on time, great job. The only area for improvement I can suggest that the period to opt in to an online experience could be extended. Unfortunately I was on holiday and missed the email and deadline to opt in to an online process. Instead I defaulted to having to share and receive documentation by snail mail post which did concern me, could delay things ?. It didn’t all was good, but it did add a little bit of stress that without having Online portal to check progress a that nothing was waiting on me would have reduced. But in the end it wasn’t an issue and all was good.

Great experience…

After having a previous bad experience with a remortgage I was apprehensive of this one. Enact were fantastic from start to finish. Our solicitor was great with her communication and gave us regular updates. The online portal was very easy to use and any queries I had were answered quickly. The remortgage process went quicker than expected with no problems. I would definitely use them again for any future moves/remortgages. Thank you!

AVOID - incorrect information and advice

Such a stressful experience. 2 weeks before completion, they let me know that my mortgage offer expired on the day it was issued and that i need to reapply.... yeah because that sounds logical... Contacted lender and they agreed with me. Lender spoke with enact and its going ahead as expected. What a waste of my time and energy. Enact - Read the mortgage offer!!! Also why is Donna using Emma's account to message me? Surely this breaks data and cyber security practices
