Good Value for your money

Although at first the price appeared high it’s not when you consider what is actually included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner Bar Snacks each evening Beer and Wine at Lunch and Dinner Tea/Coffee/Hot Chocolate, Cookies 24/7 Popcorn on movie nights. Tours with excellent tour guides. Local entertainment on board ship Professional, friendly, hardworking staff. We did the Danube from Budapest to Passau then a coach to Prague for 4 Days. Our trip included stops of some beautiful places with ample time to explore. Emerald is our “go to” river cruise company which I strongly recommend to others to give them a try.

Our Duoro river cruise was excellent.

Our Duoro river cruise was excellent. All the staff were friendly, efficient and our every need was catered for. The bar staff were great fun. The cabin was comfortable and always kept clean and tidy. We were also impressed that a lot of the staff came from Porto. A beautiful experience. Thank you

The cruise from starts to finish was…

The cruise from starts to finish was memorable for all the right reasons. Staff, the ship, food, accomadation all wonderful. Each day different with multi choices… relax in board, sightsee yourself, sightsee with a guided tour or be adventurous and do an active activity. Something for everyone.

River trips in Europe

The cruise incorporating Holland and Belgium was great the highlight being Keukenhof Gardens. The other one was the opportunity to visit the cube houses in Rotterdam. The ship, crew, food etc was up to your usual high standard that we have been accustomed to on our many cruises with you.

A great cruise

A great cruise. Accommodation, staff and food were excellent. The thermal rooms were nice (at a cost) but facilities were lacking- no direct access to toilets or changing rooms I am surprised that you allow smoking on board. Even though it's only permitted outside this is still unpleasant for guests and staff and poses a fire risk

Restful week on a luxury ship

A great week's cruise from Dubrovnik to Venice. The facilities on the ship were great - comfortable rooms, excellent meals and engaging activities. The main highlight was the staff, who were excellent; friendly and professional throughout. We booked a new trip whilst still onboard.

Our flights were cancelled due to power…

Our flights were cancelled due to power failure at Manchester airport. Emerald sorted everything they were amazing! Sadly it meant we missed 2 days of our cruise but the other 5 days made up for it. Well done Emerald for making customer service priority. Would definitely recommend this company. We have been with them twice and it won't be the last hopefully!

Great river cruising in stylish boats. However, quite expensive for slightly cramped cabins. Also, dislike their advertising which I consider tends to be misleading (but that’s not unusual these days)

Bucharest to Budapest

Great river cruise from Bucharest to Budapest. Food excellent. Staff superb. Good excursions and entertainment. Our 3rd river cruise with Emerald and we will be booking another one sometime.
