Hi, I'm Raymond, new dex guardian in kedge house Tiller Road from 04 April 2025 to now. Based on my limited experience, I think Dex should be commended and encouraged for its respect for human life. This is contrary to my previous rentals. The space Dex offers for a single bed flat elsewhere is divided into three or even four bed flats and expensive price each single room. If tenants took their accommodations at Dex even a little seriously, I think there would be fewer complaints about maintenance. However, I express regret that their housing offers don't even allow for children. Regardless, for the rest of us, Dex is to be encouraged.

Very negative experience. Awful communication

Very negative experience. Boyd and Desilava's communication is awful. You often get no response, or they ask me to send my details which I have already sent over. Then they go quiet. Ads are still 'live' but then you find out the property is gone. Still the property is listed on Findaflat / SpareRoom.

Absolutely awful organisation

I was head guardian at a Dex property for two and a half years. These people are the worst collection of cowboys and charlatans imaginable, and as a prospective guardian or property owner I would run an absolute mile from them. The majority of the employees at Dex are completely incompetent and utterly disinterested. They ignore almost all attempts to report maintenance and other issues with the property. We regularly had no heating and hot water for weeks on end over the winter. The employees even seemed annoyed that we were reporting it. All the white goods that they provided were broken/non functional and were never fixed. Eventually there was an ongoing incident whereby a new guardian moved into one of the buildings on site and started stealing from the other guardians, and using illegal substances in the property. This was all proven and reported to Dex, who did nothing. I eventually moved out after having had several hundred pounds worth of my possessions stolen. Just an awful, awful organisation.

Sad to leave as Guardian a property ran by DEX

Through DEX Property Management I found a suitable accommodation and lived in the property for 2 years. During this period, issues which have been raised and communicated via its Head Office being dealt with. Unfortunately, sometimes beyond DEX Management control, certain recurring problems such as fixing the entrance gate could not be achieved due to vandalism from unknown individuals. Friendships were formed in the property and if there is an opportunity in the future to be a Guardian again, I would not hesitate to take it.

Great Property management for our guardianship

Early days into a guardianship with DEX, but the process has all been mostly positive. Desislava has been our handling agent and is very helpful keeping us informed of the process and supporting any issues. The flat itself is comfortable and in good condition. There are some issues sorting out the utilities handover, but largely the move in was smooth.

Great Customer Assistance

I didn't know anything about guardianship, but the customer service and support that DEX offers is outstanding. I could easily understand what this new world entails, what offers and what requires. They are guiding me so well through my first guardianship. I highly recommend them.

Dex Property Management

I have been a property guardian for a number of years now. Dex Property Management had some fair priced central locations and very pleasant staff, who helped me to move very quickly as I had only a short time to find somewhere to live. Of particular help to me was Desislava Georgieva. If you get her, she is a really great agent and really did her best to process things quickly for me. Although I am leaving their services I would be happy to return to them in the future if necessary. Finally, be advised that Dex does use a full reference service, so ensure that all of your details are current and up to date.
