Speedy Purchase
I was purchasing a house and was on a tight deadline for when I needed to move in. All of my friends told me that based on their own experiences there was no way. But Caitlin and DC Law made it happen
A Conveyancer you can trust
The task of moving & all that goes with it is pretty much a roller coaster of emotions and stressful.This is only made easier by having a Conveyancer like Christopher Stones who is professional & on piont with all that's to be dealt with. I highly recommend Christopher & should I ever need a Conveyancer DC law are the only firm i would consider. kind regards & many thanks Peter Morris.

Too many cases equals very, very average service?
The set-up I had using DCLaw and MoveWithUs seems to be dis-functional and, sadly, I would find it hard to recommend either of them. The efficiencies (to them) of having a chain of people involved, and, I assume, too many cases leads to a lack of personal service, lower quality of that service and poor chains of communication - with delays and miscommunications to the various other agencies involved eg probate solicitor and estate agents - to the detriment of the customer. Not totally terrible service but very frustrating. The set-up also seems to be reflected in MWU's high staff turn-over, so not only do the people I deal with struggle to remember me and my case (as executor of my brother's will), but new faces regularly take over exacerbating the problems. In the 18 months or so it's taken to deal with my brother's 2 properties, I have dealt with at least 13 people at MoveWithUs. That said, I must commend Lisa S who has been probably the best I have dealt with. There has been better continuity with persons at DCLaw, so there should be less reason for the level of service received, but sadly not, with continual struggles to recall who I am and what you are selling for me and often days waiting for information. That said, I am grateful or just relieved that we got there in the end....

Digital capabilities matched with a personal approach
I recently used DC Law for the sale of a property that was co-owned by my siblings and me. Having three joint owners who were not in the local area made things more difficult, but we chose DC Law because of its digital capabilities and acceptance of online documentation. The excellent and comprehensive portal-based system made the sale highly efficient, with regular alerts to each of us as we went through the process. This digital portal was supported by a highly personal service from Iain Fleming who was excellent at keeping us well informed, coordinating the information that we all needed to supply. Iain was professional and always quick to respond - keeping us posted on progress through to completion. Iain was a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend.

Very good last week before exchange and completion
We had a very nice experience with DC Law and in particular with Oliver Vale as our conveyancer. Ollie took our case while our main solicitor was on annual leave, and we were just about to complete and exchange contracts that week. Ollie went above and beyond making sure everything was in place and dealt very professionally and diligent the last few days ironing out any last minute problems. All the team was very helpful during the last week and pushed to exchange and complete in record time. If you decide to go with DC Law as your solicitors, then please ask to get Ollie as he is the best !

DC Law inspires Confidence
DC Law offers what looks like an excellent and comprehensive portal based system for the majority of clients buying and selling property, making it highly efficient for both parties. However, they are flexible if necessary for those older clients who are less computer/smartphone literate and need more traditional support during what can be a stressful period. Coming from the latter group all I can say is that selling our home was quite a comforting process overall, with excellent telephone support when needed, especially from our Conveyancer, Daphne. In this digital age, it was refreshing to find a high degree of empathy to get the job done efficiently and professionally without us having to be smart with technology. Thank you DC Law, for the way in which you inspired confidence from outset to completion. Highly recommended.

A Safe Pair of Hands
Cheryl England was delightful to work with. Totally professional but with a lovely human touch. The eWay portal, on the other hand was unnecessarily clunky - felt like it had been built by a 15 year old work experience student. Fortunately Cheryl was easily contactable and I felt confident that my case was in very good hands. Alister Bailey was also very good at keeping me updated on the progress of the sale of the house and answering my questions.
