Easy but thorough process. I called and was quickly put through to an agent. The whole process was explained to me as we went along and I always felt at my ease. I will definitely be using cruise1st again to book my next cruise. They were also the cheapest amongst several cruise agents that I could find
I agree with a previous poster. Once deposit is paid- they’re not particularly bothered. We also booked before flights were out and had to chase up at least half a dozen times - even then, they didn’t let me know they had actually been issued- it was only when I rang yet again- they said they were on the system!
Also the final balance on the T&Cs is 15 weeks prior. Mine however is over 20 weeks prior. Upon querying it and requesting a delay in line with, and as my friends and relatives also travelling had later ‘balance due’ dates - they refused, blaming the cruise company and saying mine was correct…..so everyone else’s must be wrong then.
It’s just the principle…and it just makes me not trust them
James was extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer all my questions as a first time cruise passenger. He was very patient and gave me lots of good advice.
Booked Cruise and Tour in dec 2022 for March 2024, as flights were not out Patricia said that she would get intouch with us when the flights were available also wanted to add additional night onto end of cruise to explore seoul.
Now we have to get intouch with customer service team not dealing direct with agent that we booked with ?.
Looks like when they have your deposit you are forgotten about.
after leaving details with customers services still awaiting answer mysteriously they cannot accept a phone call all by email, looks like we will be losing our deposit.
Lesson learned never again Cruise 1st.
As a seasoned cruise customer I took the chance to use a new cruise travel agent to book my next cruise in September. Happy to report that my sales expert, Barbara Thompson at Cruise 1st was a choose choice. All booked, happy with price and destination, she even gave me a discount code for using ABP parking at the port.
Mikey from cruise1st has been professional throughout the booking progress he always calls back and has been very knowledgable on all areas of my cruise booking a credit to the company. Will definitely use again
