AVOID COLLINGWOOD AT ALL COSTS! Take into consideration all negative reviews and donβt overlook it like I did!!! Before purchasing I called them to double check everything and was mislead over the phone, which made me go for the worse option. I misunderstood the fine prints because they were not clearly written, and are also misleading. Not to mention the spelling mistakes over the emails exchanged. I purchased learner insurance for a set amount of months, passed my driving test before the policy ended and they are refusing to refund the money for the months I will not use the learner insurance (which I have no option but to cancel). Iβve lost Β£160. They are claiming I never spoke to one of their agents which is a lie. Why would I have bought a policy over others without having spoken to anyone? Do not recommend them in the slightest! Go for reputable insurance companies instead, cheap becomes costly and itβs not worth it! Regardless of policy you go for its clear that you will be at loss!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS !! I have been forced out from Collingwoods for no reason and they refuse to help me or answer any questions. My insurance is valid for another 4 days but when I tried to sign in to my collingwood account to recover my no claims document to send to direct line (a decent company) - I have found my account has been frozen - it says "ON HOLD" - why?? Because I have questioned their disgusting business practices and their terrible behaviour towards me? (and no doubt) many other customers or because have started a complaint (as is my legal right) with the ombudsman? They are, without doubt, the WORST insurance company I have ever dealt with and I have never made an insurance claim with them or missed a payment so there isnt any reason for me and them to have any issures - they have just gone out of their way to DISCRIMINATE against me - I am not sure whether its my race, colour, creed, age or simply my postcode because they refuse to tell me why they have chosen to discriminate against me. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!
