AVOID COLLINGWOOD AT ALL COSTS! Take into consideration all negative reviews and donβt overlook it like I did!!! Before purchasing I called them to double check everything and was mislead over the phone, which made me go for the worse option. I misunderstood the fine prints because they were not clearly written, and are also misleading. Not to mention the spelling mistakes over the emails exchanged. I purchased learner insurance for a set amount of months, passed my driving test before the policy ended and they are refusing to refund the money for the months I will not use the learner insurance (which I have no option but to cancel). Iβve lost Β£160. They are claiming I never spoke to one of their agents which is a lie. Why would I have bought a policy over others without having spoken to anyone? Do not recommend them in the slightest! Go for reputable insurance companies instead, cheap becomes costly and itβs not worth it! Regardless of policy you go for its clear that you will be at loss!

RIP OFF CANCELLATION FEES
RIP OFF CANCELLATION FEES! PLEASE READ. If taking out learner insurance with this company please be aware that if the person passes their test and you cancel the policy they will charge you Β£40 for the privileged and give no refund on the annual policy. I cancelled my daughters policy after 9 months, and was charged Β£40.00. Typical rip off insurance company who make money from a policy that will, in most cases, be cancelled early due to the nature of it. My advice would be to avoid. Or do not cancel your policy, just let it run its course and expire. RIP OFF. By the way, if you read through the reviews, all the 5 star ones sound so fake. Be aware!

Β£100.00 fees charged when the policy comes to an end!
We had taken a learner driver car insurance policy out, my son passed his test and therefore had to end that policy and take out another. We we charged Β£100.00 in cancellation fees and admin fees to do this. We have not cancelled the policy early or changed to another provider. We had to end the policy as he had passed his test and the policy was no longer valid. This is atrocious!

Do not have Taxi insurance from collingwood, if you have any no claim accidents they will never close your case and give you non claim bonus certificate. As I have it and waiting for non claim bonus certificat from last 4 years and they always tell me they are waiting from last 4 years for invoice investigation. OMG
