AVOID COLLINGWOOD AT ALL COSTS! Take into consideration all negative reviews and don’t overlook it like I did!!! Before purchasing I called them to double check everything and was mislead over the phone, which made me go for the worse option. I misunderstood the fine prints because they were not clearly written, and are also misleading. Not to mention the spelling mistakes over the emails exchanged. I purchased learner insurance for a set amount of months, passed my driving test before the policy ended and they are refusing to refund the money for the months I will not use the learner insurance (which I have no option but to cancel). I’ve lost £160. They are claiming I never spoke to one of their agents which is a lie. Why would I have bought a policy over others without having spoken to anyone? Do not recommend them in the slightest! Go for reputable insurance companies instead, cheap becomes costly and it’s not worth it! Regardless of policy you go for its clear that you will be at loss!

Unfair fees!

As many other customers have advised be wary of the £40 fee, for nothing! We didn’t cancel the policy when our son passed so the policy ran its course and yet we were charged £40! For what? Oh it’s in the small print, what a con! Insurance companies are all out for what they can get!

Beware my daughter passed her test and they charge your £40!, I didn't cancel the policy she just passed her test. They ran a check to see if she passed her test just so that they can charge the additional £40. I have 3 children and other companies don't have this stealth underhand charge! I deem this ethically and morally wrong, very poor company to work with! Update: Collingwood did contact me via email after this posting. Unfortunately this response has just reiterated what a poor company they are, it was a corporate response stating you should read there detailed terms and conditions, where they hide this stealth charge.

Sarah is brilliant and so helpful

I just done my insurance with Collingwood insurance and the support I got from Sarah and Lisa was amazing, they both are fantastic and very helpful. Highly recommended. Thank you Sarah for helping me out through the whole process.
