One to avoid as mis sold

I stayed in the Clayton in cardiff with my wife and son and booked 2 executive rooms. I was given rooms 922 and 925 not executive rooms as these were on the 10th floor. So conned. The corridor had a horrible smell the rooms were dirty and dark the bed very small more like a large single and the bed and chairs very worn One room looked at a wall the other had a small window in the corner. The bathroom was clean but in need of replacement very tatty. The bar and restaurant were much better but expensive I booked a drinks package but was told in company this could not be the case as it was only for special occasions quite embarrassing the reception apologised and told me this was wrong and refunded me for it. I am left feeling disappointed and conned. My recommendation is stay somewhere else.

Friendly staff

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable Stay in a Great Location Stayed at Clayton Hotel recently my room was clean, and the bed was ok . Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location near the city centre. Only downside was a bit of a wait at check-in and breakfast.

Rooms very dated

Rooms very dated. Television didn’t work 3 x attempts by staff to get it working. Offered a change of room at 11:45pm 🤦‍♀️ can’t remember when I stayed in a hotel with a shower over the bath and a shower curtain 😂 but staff very friendly and professional. Restaurant staff lovely no complaints. Hotel needs a refurb. But very clean so cleaning staff doing a good job. No complaints with staff but defo needs to be upgraded better hotels in the area. delta, tribe x

Daylight robbery

I booked a room with Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane, and they cancelled it almost immediately after I paid. I never received a refund, despite emailing them for weeks with no response. Eventually, I had to dispute the charge through Revolut and got my money back — only for Clayton Hotels to dispute the refund and take the money back again, even though I never stayed there and they provided no service whatsoever. This is completely unacceptable and feels like theft, plain and simple. Avoid this hotel group at all costs — unresponsive, unprofessional, and clearly have no issue keeping your money without delivering anything in return.

Clayton Hotel Silver Springs Cork

We stayed at the Clayton hotel in Silver Springs , firstly I have to say the staff were really lovely especially Rose in the restaurant and Harradid in the bar,very polite,friendly and helpful .. the room Was nice but the TV dident work we had a choice of moving but as we were settled in the room we declined, we had dinner in the restaurant we ordered steak , mine medium to well done , it was red and very tough, Rose was really nice and dident charge us , we ordered a nice Rioja wine but they hadn't got it so we ordered an Australian Shiraz which was a tad sweet .. all in all I was disappointed with the hotel , having stayed in the Clayton in Cork city this Clayton hotel disappointing, we will definitely go back to the Clayton in Cork city 9/10 but won’t return to Silver Springs

What we’ve experienced in clayton birmingham is that all the staff there is not aware about customer service or hospitality they will pass you to person to person and i follow up a item that we left this people couldnt be trusted in a room never again to check in in place like this you can have my firestick brums nicking person

Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport, don’t use it if you’re disabled person rooms are not fit for purpose

 Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport stopped here for one night and a disabled room shower flooded had to get towels because of that much water. The emergency pool cord was missing completely. The toilet was not fit for purpose. If you wanted to lift the seat you couldn’t because they had a backrest that was far too big in my opinion. This was not a disabled room but it disaster room, wouldn’t recommend stopping if you’re disabled tony broughton

Nie wieder

Leider entsprach mein Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel nicht meinen Erwartungen. Insbesondere das Verhalten des Personals war sehr enttäuschend. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption zeigten wenig Bereitschaft, auf die Bedürfnisse der Gäste einzugehen, was zu einem insgesamt unfreundlichen Eindruck führte. Darüber hinaus empfand ich einige Verhaltensweisen als unangemessen und möglicherweise diskriminierend. Ich hoffe, dass das Management diese Probleme angeht, um zukünftigen Gästen ein angenehmeres Erlebnis zu bieten. Nie wieder.

Clayton Hotel Cardiff

Clayton Hotel Cardiff The room was standard and clean although the toilet seat was askew. He’s the bad bit. The breakfast was the worst we’ve had by far in all the hotels we’ve stayed in. Sausages were so hard I had difficulty cutting into them. Bacon was hard and mushrooms were deep fried and literally black. We couldn’t eat it. We are booked in for another night but we’ve decided not to have breakfast at the hotel tomorrow which we’ve already paid for and just cut our losses. Disgusting!

Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport

Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport. Wir haben dort eine Nacht vor unserem Flug nach Hamburg übernachtet. Gebucht über unseren Reiseveranstalter Trendtours. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und geräumig. Alles sehr modern eingerichtet und in einem sehr gutem Zustand. Das Hotel ist sehr schön und groß mit einer netten Bar und großen Lobby. Abendessen und Frühstück waren sehr gut. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Shuttle Bus zum Airport direkt am Hotel.

Very disappointed with customer…

Very disappointed with customer service. Arrived to their time scale and room wasn’t ready, had to wait in bar for 40minutes. Then Fire alarm went off twice in middle of night and when I enquired following morning, I was told they couldn’t help it ! No finesse, no apology !

Awful online booking service only…
