Sandra our tutor for year 2 has been so supportive and helpful and brings passion and knowledge in abundance. She shares so much and her feedback is thorough and thoughtful and so helpful. She's been amazing and I'm excited to continue the second half of the year and progress onto year three. Thank you so much to the staff behind the scenes and placements team too for always being ready to answer queries and help where they can.

I have been with chrysalis for 2.5 yrs, my 1st year was enjoyable, with a great tutor, my 2nd year not so much, however, on year 3 1st session in January, my current tutor gave me structure, with slideshows & video clips to explain in more depth and giving examples of the different topics, I have thoroughly enjoyed my first 5 modules as I am a visual learner, the guidance given is great by Sarah Jones and she is a real fit for our group, I am looking forward to the rest of my final year with Chrysalis
I have had a great experience training with Chrysalis. The pluralistic content of the course has been very interesting and I believe has put me in good stead for my future as a counsellor. Most beneficial to my experience though is my tutor, Martina. Martina is incredibly knowledgeable, always puts us at ease, fills us with confidence and gives valuable feedback.

We were not given time to do our practice log for first year. Also I feel we should be given more practice lesson on Hypnotherapy technique. Although I have completed all modules satisfactory, I feel that I am not able to practice hypnotherapy in real life as, I am not skilled enough. The case studies were not marked correctly by the adjudicator, as they were not given the correct information from Chrysalis. Despite asking several times for new course dates, so that we can organised our holidays with kids, we were left hanging till the last minute

I have just completed the 3 years with Chrysalis and have thoroughly enjoyed my journey. I would recommend you do your 100 hours within an organised placement as you will be unable to do your level 5 otherwise. This was not made clear and fortunately I did this but some fellow students sought their 100 hours externally and are now having to complete their hours again to do the level 5. Having said this a thoroughly enjoyable course with lots of self discovery, a very knowledgeable and supportive tutor and I have made fabulous new friends. Would definitely recommend.

i was dubious due to reviews online but went with my gut feeling and went for it, just completed my first year and upto now its 1st class, our tutor in the 1st year at manchester has been outstanding, i can highly recommend this course for anyone wanting to pursue a career in hypnotherapy or psychotherapy...

I did my level 3 and level 4 counselling courses with Chrysalis and enjoyed the 3 years. They have excellent tutors and it was an honour to learn from them. Chrysalis was very supportive through the course.l would definitely recommend Chrysalis courses.

I trained with Chrysalis and did the three years - it was really helpful, the tutors were very clear and knowledgeable. Having qualified and volunteered for experience, I found out that revisiting how the theories and practice match up since qualifiying has really helped. My course was a once a month but to get the most out of it you really had to work between the course sessions. This may be a part time course but not part time effort! Like everything what you put in is reflected in what you get out. Admin team years ago was a bit hit and miss but it has improved over the years and the team are really helpful and accessible. I’m sorry but I had a very unhappy experience with the course. I felt it was very poorly organised and a Tutor who seemed far happier doing NLP than Hypnotherapy. Having to default during my first year I found very little support getting back in to the course. I would send advance emails asking about getting in touch with a new practice group etc which were simply ignored. In fact it felt like because I had deferred (and they had my money already) I didn’t matter. Ended up not even rejoining the course as I felt completely unwanted and got practically no info on how to do it. Would still love to become a Hypnotherapist but certainly not on this course.
