Sandra our tutor for year 2 has been so supportive and helpful and brings passion and knowledge in abundance. She shares so much and her feedback is thorough and thoughtful and so helpful. She's been amazing and I'm excited to continue the second half of the year and progress onto year three. Thank you so much to the staff behind the scenes and placements team too for always being ready to answer queries and help where they can.

I have been with chrysalis for 2.5 yrs, my 1st year was enjoyable, with a great tutor, my 2nd year not so much, however, on year 3 1st session in January, my current tutor gave me structure, with slideshows & video clips to explain in more depth and giving examples of the different topics, I have thoroughly enjoyed my first 5 modules as I am a visual learner, the guidance given is great by Sarah Jones and she is a real fit for our group, I am looking forward to the rest of my final year with Chrysalis
I have had a great experience training with Chrysalis. The pluralistic content of the course has been very interesting and I believe has put me in good stead for my future as a counsellor. Most beneficial to my experience though is my tutor, Martina. Martina is incredibly knowledgeable, always puts us at ease, fills us with confidence and gives valuable feedback.

The Chrysalis course is based on one teaching day per month at the weekends which suited me really well as I work full time. Most of the work is done on your own time with monthly reading, journals and assignments to complete. The approach to teaching and feedback is something of a box ticking exercise, If you complete the learning outcomes you pass. There is minimal time and effort put into practical skills development during class time. You're pretty much on your own when it comes to both theory and practice. My overall feeling is that the course is designed to meet the teaching standards they are signed up to but nothing more. There's plenty of room for improvement.

Really enjoying studying with Chrysalis and with full support and help from our Lecturer in the class and online studying through Zoom in lockdown. I will definitely go for further qualification with Chrysalis and will recommend to anyone interested in having successful profession in Counselling

I am just approaching qualifying and setting up in my own private practice (I find it hard to believe I am actually saying that!). The course itself is incredibly informative and well put together. My tutor, Kay Milton has been a joy to study under and is incredibly supportive. But then, so are he whole Chrysalis team. Big shout at to Becky at Central Student Support who always got back to me within 24 hours (and sometimes in about 2 minutes!). I am a mature student and, having just been made redundant, I am proud that I am almost a qualified counsellor - thank you Chrysalis.

I developed so much over the course and have really appreciated being on placement. It’s been great gaining classmates as friends and growing in skills and confidence. The support team has been great too- going above and beyond with support via email to support course work etc.

Good course content and the group really become your therapy family. Tutor support is excellent, always get a reply within a couple days of sending a message. Student support are very understanding and flexible with you. 1 Day a month for the content and then probably a few hours a week doing practical and any write ups / journals / essays you may have. Very manageable to do around having a family and full time work. They have been amazing through the pandemic, only missing one class which was made up via a zoom call, just an extra day to get the practical elements done.

The course itself is great and I highly recommend it; the bonus is having a great student support team and Lynne in particular, in my experience at least, goes the extra mile!

I have just received my level 5 professional Diploma with Chrysalis. I had a great tutor, who I found had such a depth of knowledge. I felt safe asking her any questions re the course. I felt she supported me well and encouraged my growth. I had a very positive experience talking with the administrative services, in particular Lynne from south student support team. I am so pleased I was able to achieve my Diploma with Chrysalis.
