Sandra our tutor for year 2 has been so supportive and helpful and brings passion and knowledge in abundance. She shares so much and her feedback is thorough and thoughtful and so helpful. She's been amazing and I'm excited to continue the second half of the year and progress onto year three. Thank you so much to the staff behind the scenes and placements team too for always being ready to answer queries and help where they can.

I have been with chrysalis for 2.5 yrs, my 1st year was enjoyable, with a great tutor, my 2nd year not so much, however, on year 3 1st session in January, my current tutor gave me structure, with slideshows & video clips to explain in more depth and giving examples of the different topics, I have thoroughly enjoyed my first 5 modules as I am a visual learner, the guidance given is great by Sarah Jones and she is a real fit for our group, I am looking forward to the rest of my final year with Chrysalis
I have had a great experience training with Chrysalis. The pluralistic content of the course has been very interesting and I believe has put me in good stead for my future as a counsellor. Most beneficial to my experience though is my tutor, Martina. Martina is incredibly knowledgeable, always puts us at ease, fills us with confidence and gives valuable feedback.

I have done both level 4 and 5 training and they have helped build my confidence as a therapist. Though the course is great, and the support throughout was amazing, it is increasingly hard to not be accepted in other sectors of the counselling job front for the course being NCS rather than BACP approved. It wasn't an option for me to convert over to during the course I did a few years ago which I believe may have changed now.

To be absolutely honest I regret paying out for this counselling course. The level of support I received was poor, I always felt they never listened to my concerns and on many occasions I couldn’t get through on the phone it was always email. I’m now happy to say I enrolled at a college within my area to study counselling and have found the experience totally different, the tutors are engaging and supportive. I’m so much more confident in moving forward within my course, My only regret is not doing this sooner.

I gained direct entry to year 2. I've done 6 modules so far, all of them online because of the pandemic. First off, the tutor is outstanding: she has unrivalled wealth and depth of knowledge and is a genuine and non-judgmental person. The material is written in an approachable way, and yet you definitely need to read more before completing the assignments. The directions for the assignments are extremely clear. Despite not being BACP accredited, I feel that I'm gaining the competencies that I need to be in practice so I'm confident I'll be able to gain BACP accreditation via their certificate of proficiency route. I recommend Chrysalis, especially if you are an adult learner and/or need to achieve work/life balance. I was also fortunate enough to stumble upon excellent fellow students, whom I look forward to meeting IRL in September.

Was okay, chrysalis enabled me to get the qualification I needed to practice counselling but little more. The level 4 accreditation isn’t recognised by BACP so I had to do another weekend course in order to do that which was frustrating.

the wealth of information and knowledge gained from the tutors is beyond words. They are helpful and the feedback during sessions is really useful and has helped me grow in more ways than i imagined. Chrysalis courses are value for money and you can gain a lot from them toward your career aspirations. The office staff are lovely to speak to as well as the learning support team.

Year one was brilliant loved the hypnotherapy training. Year two the tutor was very poor. I felt unsupported by her. She never marked my work. Her knowledge was limited. In view of this I moved courses. I dont feel my complaint was ever dealt with.

The course was suited to my learning styles. During Covid I was very impressed with the flexibility and adaptability of the delivery of sessions. It suited my current circumstances and I felt I was able to continue learning in a consistent and academic manner. Self directed learning is an important element to the success of the course. Our final year tutor was extremely supportive and helpful. I really enjoyed the learning journey and experience. It has given me the confidence to continue learning and working as a qualified practitioner.

I've signed up for the course but had to defer for another year due to a work qualification that I needed to complete. Chrysalis have been superb taking the pressure away with their superb student support team been empathic to my sudden change in circumstances. I'm made up I have chosen Chrysalis and looking forward to completing my training next year. Thank you Chrysalis.
