Sandra our tutor for year 2 has been so supportive and helpful and brings passion and knowledge in abundance. She shares so much and her feedback is thorough and thoughtful and so helpful. She's been amazing and I'm excited to continue the second half of the year and progress onto year three. Thank you so much to the staff behind the scenes and placements team too for always being ready to answer queries and help where they can.

I have been with chrysalis for 2.5 yrs, my 1st year was enjoyable, with a great tutor, my 2nd year not so much, however, on year 3 1st session in January, my current tutor gave me structure, with slideshows & video clips to explain in more depth and giving examples of the different topics, I have thoroughly enjoyed my first 5 modules as I am a visual learner, the guidance given is great by Sarah Jones and she is a real fit for our group, I am looking forward to the rest of my final year with Chrysalis
I have had a great experience training with Chrysalis. The pluralistic content of the course has been very interesting and I believe has put me in good stead for my future as a counsellor. Most beneficial to my experience though is my tutor, Martina. Martina is incredibly knowledgeable, always puts us at ease, fills us with confidence and gives valuable feedback.

I have enjoyed my course so far however I feel that we could have been taken back on site when schools were back on site as zoom classes are not conducive to learning and set students at a disadvantage on this course

I did my Level 3,4 and 5 courses with Chrysalis and I had good experiences through out my courses. The tutors were great. I learnt, practiced and matured as a counsellor during my time with Chrysalis. Definitely recommend their courses to anyone.

I am in my second year with Chrysalis, they have been great at offering a flexible and inclusive way to learn. Initially the office helped me to navigate the interview process and payment options which for me included a grant secured via my work. This year I was able to join two different study groups in order to balance training commitments. I have enjoyed the variety of options Chrysalis has offered over the pandemic for example the blended learning approach, webinars, online modules and study groups. Face to face teaching returns in September and I am looking forward to be reunited with our lovely Bristol group and our amazing tutor - Rhianan! I’d recommend Chrysalis to anyone looking for a supportive, affordable and flexible way to study counselling skills.

The course itself is very good, well structured and the tutors are highly professional and helpful. However I had a lot of issues communicating with the organisation itself, having enrolled for a course that was supposed to start in April and not having heard from them until August when they informed me that the course will actually start in November. I understand that due to COVID 19 there have been a lot of delays but I feel that this fact should have been communicated properly whereas I’ve been kept in the dark.

I have found Chrysalis to be amazing with regards to flexibility, course content and support materials/lectures/webinars. The South Student Support Team have been a life-line during the lock-down and I want to particularly mention Lauren who has always responded to my queries and requests in a timely manner and has provided me with information and practical ways forward. A big thank you! The only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is because assignments, student notes and forms for placement and supervision purposes, have only been available in PDF format, which is quite restricting. Recently however, Lauren emailed a homework assignment which I was able to edit in Word! So, maybe this aspect of the course is improving. I would recommend Chrysalis to anyone who is looking for a quality psychotherapeutic counselling course that offers flexibility and supports you to fit the course into your existing schedule.

Completed my hypnotherapy diploma. My teacher Ian Guest was brilliant, organised and would always give support to help with passing assignments and assessments. My only criticism is that there was a lot of work expected for this diploma but then you end up an an accredited hypnotherapist. Can be difficult to juggle when working full time and having a family but I did it. Also got to meet some lovely people on the course eventhough it was all done on zoom but again I feel that is partly due to how well Ian our tutor managed it. Would definitely recommend this course especially if you are having Ian Guest as he teaches in Manchester.

The notes supplied are excellent, as is the course structure and pace. However, their range of resources is only minimal, recommended books are years out of date and the quality of the actual teaching is terrible. Minimal actual practice, slow marking and appauling admin support left me wishing I'd never started the course Re reply: yes I want to talk to someone but not admin, someone in the overall management structure of the business
