Sandra our tutor for year 2 has been so supportive and helpful and brings passion and knowledge in abundance. She shares so much and her feedback is thorough and thoughtful and so helpful. She's been amazing and I'm excited to continue the second half of the year and progress onto year three. Thank you so much to the staff behind the scenes and placements team too for always being ready to answer queries and help where they can.

I have been with chrysalis for 2.5 yrs, my 1st year was enjoyable, with a great tutor, my 2nd year not so much, however, on year 3 1st session in January, my current tutor gave me structure, with slideshows & video clips to explain in more depth and giving examples of the different topics, I have thoroughly enjoyed my first 5 modules as I am a visual learner, the guidance given is great by Sarah Jones and she is a real fit for our group, I am looking forward to the rest of my final year with Chrysalis
I have had a great experience training with Chrysalis. The pluralistic content of the course has been very interesting and I believe has put me in good stead for my future as a counsellor. Most beneficial to my experience though is my tutor, Martina. Martina is incredibly knowledgeable, always puts us at ease, fills us with confidence and gives valuable feedback.

I've just completed my first year with Chrysalis. The syllabus has good coverage which flows, some bits were a little vague in how it's written but my tutor Nick Matthews was there to support when I needed it. Nick provided a very welcoming and engaging class environment, as we only have 1 day together a month we covered a good amount of the syllabus live, and there is much further learning for at home. I would have found it useful if in the first class there was a nudge to read all the class notes prior to the class, it does state it online but I missed this for the first couple of classes. The online system was a bit clunky, but it recently had a refresh so is much better now. The Chrysalis office team is very supportive and quick to deal with any situations too. It would be nice to have more detail on the last class signposting to further courses related to year 1(Hypnotherapy). I'm looking forward to year 2!

I went with Chrysalis because I only wanted to qualify as a hypnotherapist, and Chrysalis did not try to upsell me to the Level 4 or 5 in any way, which I was grateful for so thank you for being client led from the off :) I loved the Hypnotherapy content, and using my voice and building my own scripts. I did not want to be parroting other people's works, so I was thrilled at getting the chance to write my own materials, and get feedback on that so that my own work can get better. I did read some negative reviews before I signed up, but my experience does not match those reviews I read. I had an enjoyable experience in the room, and online. There is a fair balance of face to face versus the online work, and I expected blended learning from the get-go. Most Higher Education institutions now adopt this as the new normal. As an adult learner, I knew I would be expected to do the work in my own time in amongst the day job and home life. So it was not unexpected to be asked to do the research, become informed and undertake the side-quest background reading so that I could understand what was going on and keep pace with the work and deadlines. For me, that was what I expected to happen, therefore 5 Stars. I also want to commend Chrysalis for having a dedicated East of England offer/location as a place to study!

Chrysalis for me has been amazing! From start to finish any logistical issues I had have been fixed fairly quickly. I was blessed with Rhianan Lowes as a tutor. She fosters a safe environment that encourages us to be open and present. I never feel like there is a silly question or that I need to hold back incase I'm wrong. Rhianan has given us the opportunity to watch and learn while also taking ownership of our own journey towards becoming therapists. The course is naturally emotive and inevitably taps in to our own stories and that's something that in previous courses I have found needed to be stifled I see now that it's necessary and so important before stepping out as a professional. I have shared some difficult things along the way but Rhianan is always right there with me as I navigate it all. She brings parts of her own journey which acts as an example of how to take care of yourself as a therapist. Before starting with Chrysalis my confidence was knocked by a tutor who was less in tune. Rhianan has restored my faith and given me confidence in who I am and what I can achieve.

I recently completed the Diploma in Hypnotherapy with Chrysalis. It was a challenging but a rewarding experience. Our tutor Faye was amazing, she's very knowledgeable, supportive and she kept us motivated and well-organised throughout. The sessions were interactive, well-structured and easy to follow. I’d definitely recommend Chrysalis to anyone interested in hypnotherapy.
