Sandra our tutor for year 2 has been so supportive and helpful and brings passion and knowledge in abundance. She shares so much and her feedback is thorough and thoughtful and so helpful. She's been amazing and I'm excited to continue the second half of the year and progress onto year three. I have been with chrysalis for 2.5 yrs, my 1st year was enjoyable, with a great tutor, my 2nd year not so much, however, on year 3 1st session in January, my current tutor gave me structure, with slideshows & video clips to explain in more depth and giving examples of the different topics, I have thoroughly enjoyed my first 5 modules as I am a visual learner, the guidance given is great by Sarah Jones and she is a real fit for our group, I am looking forward to the rest of my final year with Chrysalis
I have had a great experience training with Chrysalis. The pluralistic content of the course has been very interesting and I believe has put me in good stead for my future as a counsellor. Most beneficial to my experience though is my tutor, Martina. Martina is incredibly knowledgeable, always puts us at ease, fills us with confidence and gives valuable feedback.

In the last 5/6 months I have been negotiating the final phase of my 3 year diploma. SSPs, placement hours etc. I have had to ask for several extensions and needed some assistance with final submission. I have liaised throughout with Tania who has been outstanding in her support. She has been very punctual, efficient and helpful which has given me a great deal of reassurance at what could have been a very stressful time. Thank you.

As I work full-time in a busy customer focused industry I was concerned about balancing my workload, and completing this demanding course. However, I have found this course has been perfect for my busy schedule and also for my own personal and professional development. The assignments provided opportunities to showcase my theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The class materials and additional resources enabled me to work at a pace which supported my desire to maintain a positive work-life balance, and my tutor, Jonathan Broad, was excellent in offering advice, guidance and his expertise when I was faced with challenging cases.

I completed Hypnotherapy & Level 3 Counselling last year and am now in the process of Level 4 with Julie Morley. It’s a great way to retrain around work and other commitments as classes are on Saturdays. Julie’s classes are interactive, she delivers the theory in a way that is relatable and with a little bit of fun. But also with enough structure to have an opportunity to have practice and received constructive feedback. I have really enjoyed the journey so far

My hypnotherapy and introduction to counselling skills tutor, Faye Hatch deserves 5 stars. Passionate about hypnotherapy, competent, caring, professional and always helpful. I wasn't the only one who started the year quite sceptical - she not only put us at ease, she inspired us. I also appreciated the very prompt and professional way in which she graded assignments. Due to the high standards she expected in all our work, I knew I'd pass the externally moderated papers without a glitch and this is exactly what happened.. The star I took off is not because of the tutor but because of the room we were in - crowded and noisy when we all had to practice, not at all conducive to the study of hypnotherapy. Something Chrysalis should strive to improve as soon as possible.

This review is specifically for student support at Chrysalis. I emailed explaining that my results has not been delivered within the expected time frame. They replied the same day apologising and confirming they had chased the results. I then received my results before the next working day and was reassured the certification process had been chased up for me as well. I dealt with Tania who was sympathetic, took actions to resolve the problem and followed up once the issue was resolved. Very impressed with the service.
