It was very easy to use Centauro, which I and my familiy has done for more than 15 years. During the last two years the service has overall developed and the price for full cover insurance.

Horrible experience. The only way to get there from Madrid airport is with a shuttle( badly organized) and once we got there we had to wait hours in the sun in the queue.
una stella perchè meno non si può. sono imbarazzanti, servizio clienti ridicolo. Effettuato prenotazione online pagamento andato a buon fine ma la prenotazione no, quindi mi trovo ad aver pagato ma no ho nessun numero di prenotazione in mano. per fare reclamo devi compilare un form dove il numero di prenotazione è obbligatorio. ho doovuto contestare il pagamento al servizio clienti della mia carta di credito. Evitate questa società come la peste.
Finger weg! Bei Abholung des Autos war viel los und die Mitarbeiter dementsprechend kurz angebunden und unfreundlich. Von anderen Autovermietungen bin ich es gewohnt, gemeinsam mit einem Mitarbeiter das Auto in Empfang zu nehmen. Inkl. Erklärung und evtl. Dokumentation von bereits erfolgten Schäden. Ich bekam lediglich den Schlüssel auf den Tresen geknallt und musste das Auto selbst suchen. Bei der Abgabe dann die Abzocke: Mir wurde ein Schaden abgedichtet, den ich nicht verursacht habe. Und da ich leider keine Beweisfotos gemacht habe, wurden 270€ einbehalten. Das Personal, ebenfalls wieder kurz angebunden und unfreundlich, lies sich auf keine Diskussion ein. Nicht einmal ein Schadensbericht wurde mir ausgestellt. Nun hoffe ich auf Check24 und den Premiumschutz, um die Kosten zurück zu erhalten. Wie bereits in vorherigen Rezensionen geschrieben: Centauro lockt mit günstigen Angeboten und verdient am Ende mit solchen Methoden. Nie wieder Centauro. Einen Stern gibt es lediglich für die Nähe zum Flughafen und den Shuttleservice.

Terrible experience – avoid this company. No one inspected the car with me at pickup – they claimed it was brand new and damage-free, but I quickly found scratches and filmed them. Staff were rude, didn’t introduce themselves, and refused to accept my Revolut card unless I bought their extra insurance. When returning the car, they charged me €350 for a scratch underneath the bumper – only visible if you lie on the ground. I've rented cars in Rhodes many times, but this company left me with a bad taste and disappointment in a place I used to love. Just read other reviews – I’m clearly not the only one.
I rented from Alicante airport for a few days as we were staying in nearby Arenales Del Sol. Pickup was simple just scan phone to collect the key at a box and that was it. Premium rental option is the best as there is no deposit required (just the fuel charge) and gives peace of mind should anything happen. Car came with a full tank and it was returned with only 2 bars used. The balance of the fuel payment was refunded straight away and the return process was as easy as collection. Highly recommended, friendly staff and a stressless experience. One tiny gripe - they could make it clearer that on exiting and entering the car park the gates open automatically by number plate recognition as many people seemed to be confused when exiting the car park, although this worked fine for me.
I booked and paid for a car pickup in malaga airport, the flight was delayed and there was no pick up bus waiting for me to collect my car, I tried calling , no answer. Tried to cancel but even though the email said easy cancellation there was not, on the web site or app. When I contacted them through their contact page it just sends an automated email saying your issue is resolved, when you call the phone number it cuts you off after being on hold for 7 mins. It has been a week now I've not been able to get in contact with this company, they took full payment for a week and a full tank of petrol for a car I never received. This has been an extremely awful experience. I will never use this company again and would not recommend anyone to use them.
Via Easyterra een auto geboekt bij Centauro. Bij aankomst op het vliegveld prima service d.m.v. een shuttlebus waarmee je naar de locatie van Centauro werd gebracht. Bij het ophalen van de auto werd er nog wel geprobeerd een extra verzekering af te laten sluiten,aar via Easyterra was dit al volledig ingedekt. Er werd een papier mee gegeven waar de eerdere schade al op genoteerd stond. Bij terug inleveren werd de auto geïnspecteerd en de conclusie getrokken dat er geen schade gereden was. Al met al een hele positieve ervaring met Centauro in Madeira!
Terrible experience. We booked our car to be picked up at 2330 and they send us instructions about being picked up from the airport by their shuttle and drove to the car pick up point. All a scam. There was no shuttle. There was no working number to contact them.
Esta compañía es un fraude. Para empezar ponía que se recogía el coche en el Aeropuerto y realmente se cogía y se dejaba a 10 kilómetros. Además nos dieron el coche 2 horas tarde de lo acordado. Los empleados son muy maleducados y arrogantes además de que son unos vagos que ni miraron si el coche tenía algún daño. Al devolverlo nos cobraron 251€ por un rasguño que ni siguiera hicimos. Nos robaron también la fianza, en resumen una estafa y un fraude. Por favor no cojáis esta empresa
The worst experience ever!!!! We wait for more than 2 hours to get the car. The worst service ever. Really do not recommend it. Personal is so bad with no sense of urgency and not bringing the right number of people to cope with the demand
We rented a car in Sardine. First got an almost brand new Nissan, which didn't start but they quickly replaced it also with a brand new car. They accepted my debit card for payment (traditional bank, not a neo bank). I chose their smart insurance option, which is rather expensive, but waives the deposit charged on the debit card, which was important for me.
The car we got was in good mechanical state but from outside had many marks and body damages, but functional - we didnt have any problems. But the main issue is that for our afterhours pickup, they arrived to the airport in a private car and not their yellow shuttle, which made impossible to find them, at the end we took very expensive taxi. another issue is they are not answering emails...
