Horrible experience

Horrible experience. The only way to get there from Madrid airport is with a shuttle( badly organized) and once we got there we had to wait hours in the sun in the queue.

una stella perchè meno non si può. sono imbarazzanti, servizio clienti ridicolo. Effettuato prenotazione online pagamento andato a buon fine ma la prenotazione no, quindi mi trovo ad aver pagato ma no ho nessun numero di prenotazione in mano. per fare reclamo devi compilare un form dove il numero di prenotazione è obbligatorio. ho doovuto contestare il pagamento al servizio clienti della mia carta di credito. Evitate questa società come la peste.

Finger weg! Bei Abholung des Autos war viel los und die Mitarbeiter dementsprechend kurz angebunden und unfreundlich. Von anderen Autovermietungen bin ich es gewohnt, gemeinsam mit einem Mitarbeiter das Auto in Empfang zu nehmen. Inkl. Erklärung und evtl. Dokumentation von bereits erfolgten Schäden. Ich bekam lediglich den Schlüssel auf den Tresen geknallt und musste das Auto selbst suchen. Bei der Abgabe dann die Abzocke: Mir wurde ein Schaden abgedichtet, den ich nicht verursacht habe. Und da ich leider keine Beweisfotos gemacht habe, wurden 270€ einbehalten. Das Personal, ebenfalls wieder kurz angebunden und unfreundlich, lies sich auf keine Diskussion ein. Nicht einmal ein Schadensbericht wurde mir ausgestellt. Nun hoffe ich auf Check24 und den Premiumschutz, um die Kosten zurück zu erhalten. Wie bereits in vorherigen Rezensionen geschrieben: Centauro lockt mit günstigen Angeboten und verdient am Ende mit solchen Methoden. Nie wieder Centauro. Einen Stern gibt es lediglich für die Nähe zum Flughafen und den Shuttleservice.

Would not recommend. Don’t let them scam you

Very unfriendly staff in Porto. They made us pay for a full insurance of 312€ despite already having paid another insurance beforehand. They discounted 109€ for fuel, 100€ for toll but after delivering the car they just paid 77€ back without any explanation. Customers service is unreachable. Would not recommend. Just pick another car rental, don’t let them scam you.

Rudest customer service and insurance scam going

The customer service agent told me that I must have their insurance that they don't accept 3rd party which is false. The only way I could have the car is by giving in a card with all three on my names on there, which are not issued in the UK. He then made me wait back in line for another 90 minutes. This was Alicante Airport, I would avoid at all costs and look out for the man with the little goatee beard as he is very rude and not helpful.

Perfect experience with Centauro

I'm a regular customer of the offices at Alicante Airport, booking a vehicle 2-3 times a year and I have no complaints. On the contrary, the staff is always so pleasant and helpful. So far, it's been a perfect experience with Centauro.

From start to finish of booking and returning the car it was a easy pleasurable experience and no hidden extra charges the price I was quoted was the price I paid 👍🏼

Top auto gehad! Het zou fijn zijn als je regelmatig een auto huurt dat er dan ook meer voordelen te verkrijgen zijn. Zoals bijvoorbeeld korting of andere voordelen voor vaste klanten .

Slechte ervaring met deze verhuurmaatschappij. Extra kosten! Meer verzekering dan diegene die wij al hadden afgesloten etc. Ze proberen je echt dingen aan te smeren!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. THEY ARE CONDUCTING FRAUDULENT ACTIVITIES AND IN CONSPIRACY WITH CRIMINALS I rented a car in Spain. We paid a deposit, which we were prepared for. The car was new, no complaints. At the end of the trip we were going back to return the car and catch a plane. We stopped by for lunch. We parked the car in a private parking lot with our belongings. When we left, the windows were broken, and there were no belongings. I tracked it with my iPhone location that it happened as soon as we stopped. It was very disappointing, the police did not react. We went to return the car with the broken windows, I was very worried. THE MOST INTERESTING THING was when we arrived at their place, there were 4 identical cars with the same history. THIS COMPANY SELLS CARS TO CRIMINALS. And if there is a chance, they will rob you, and then you will pay for the broken car. In short, their business is just a car exchange and much more. Be careful.

Esperienza positiva

Ho letto tante recensioni negative e, nonostante abbia effettuato decine di noleggi (soprattutto in Grecia e con compagnie low cost), ero un po' timoroso. Ma devo dire che la mia esperienza è stata assolutamente positiva: auto ottima, pulita, con cambio automatico, solo un bel po' di graffietti ed una ammaccatura. 9 giorni 64€ totali. Non ho fatto assicurazione. Ho restituito l'auto dopo pulizia in autolavaggio. Al controllo mi è stata chiesta la foto di un graffio presente sul paraurti anteriore, gliel'ho mostrata ed è finita li. Consigli per chi non ha esperienza con le compagnie low cost: verificare il deposito richiesto (molte volte è superiore ai 1000€, se non si fa un'assicurazione), vedere se sono richiesti altri depositi (es. carburante) e verificare che la carta di credito utilizzata per la prenotazione abbia abbastanza disponibilità per coprire i vari depositi (non si possono utilizzare altre carte, se non quella utilizzata in fase di prenotazione). Riportare la macchina in condizione di pulizia impeccabile (molte compagnie cercano di spillare soldi con la scusa di auto poco pulita). Al momento del ritiro fare video/foto a qualsiasi punto dell'auto, prestando attenzione alla luce, a possibili riflessi ecc. Riportare l'auto senza danni aggiuntivi, ovviamente..
