5 star service every time. Fantastic value for money, never had an issue.

Picked up the car at Pisa airport, no problem at the desk, location of car hire from arrivals was around a five minute walk rather than using the shuttle (our choice) weβd hired a mini-car and were issued with a Fiat Panda (Italy) the car was fine, with a few scratches & bumps but fine. Weβd taken an insurance out in the uk, so fully protected π. No problem at all dropping off the car, only thing that stops a five star was the cleanliness of the interior, a bit of a clean of windows and a good vac out was required, there was lots of sand on the seats in coin/drinks compartments. Very happy with the car service so far

Could have been a five star rating -- BUT !!!
Couldn't get the car we wanted, but in the end wound up with a FREE upgrade to their top of the line SUV. My only concern, was the fact that the car had not been thoroughly cleaned before we got it. As a result, we found a bottle of alcohol under the driver's seat. Lucky for us, we found it and not a member of a local constabulary on a routine check !

No money refund when cancelled hire
Had to cancel car hire with less than two days notice. Carrentals would not refund any of the rental money that I had paid. I am an OAP so money is always tight. Won't use these people again.

Thieves
Thieves, they work in conjunction with the rental companies to catch you out. They will tell you that the card block amount required is one number and the car rental will tell you another higher number when you get there. This way they can catch you out and you pay both companies. Never waste your time with them, just book direct with the companies, I have complained to them many times and they send the same crappy excuses back. SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND HEADACHE!
