Took delivery of my 2019 ford ranger yesterday, delivery man was great he called and let me know what time he will be arriving. took my truck off the loader, showed me the features, went through the paperwork and made sure i was happy with everything. went out for a drive this morning and what a truck to drive!
i started on my own as a handyman and needed my first van to work with. went to their showroom to have a look at some options. sat down with Layton and spent 15 minutes comparing vans until we found the right one. he was so patient and understanding and gave me some great advice. i ordered some new equipment and shelving for the van which they offered to fit it all in for me which was a great help and i honestly cant thank the guys there enough.
i was recommend by a friend who bought his new work van from here. jason showed me around the van and took me on a test drive. van came with full history and inspection report and with the 3 years warranty i bought i have full peace of mind.
On 29th June 2023 I purchased a Land Rover Discovery Sport from CAR FIRM. At the time of purchasing the vehicle I also purchased the premium warranty service through AUTOGUARD WARRANTIES.
The next day I notified CAR FIRM that there was a smell of burning rubber every time the car had stopped or was at a standstill from being driven. 7 days later CAR FIRM instructed me to get a diagnostic done on the vehicle from a local garage which confirmed that the car required a replacement clutch and I should not be driving the vehicle anywhere else. The Manager of CAR FIRM, Adam KHAN told me to go and get quotes from local VAT registered garages then fused to communicate with me going forward.
On Monday 10th July 2023 having found a garage, the mechanic informed me that the car had a burnt-out clutch and Dual mass flywheel costing just under £2400 to fix.
On Tuesday 11th July 2023 I contacted CAR FIRM to confirm how they intended to pay for the repairs. CAR FIRM refused to pay for the repairs. This put me in a very awkward position where I had to pay for the repairs myself. Also, I had discovered that the premium warranty had not been set up.
On the 22nd July 2023 3 weeks after a lot of phone calls back and forth; CAR FIRM confirmed that my warranty with AUTOGUARD was set up. I noticed that the account start date appeared to be back dated to when it should have been made active 3 weeks earlier. This meant that I was only getting 49 weeks of warranty cover instead of 52 weeks. We also realised that the V5 log had not arrived.
On the 9th October 2023 we had to completed a V62 form requesting a V5 log from the DVLA as the new registered keeper of the vehicle. As CAR FIRM failed to do this.
I started court proceedings as CAR FIRM refused to talk to me. After a 2-year process through small claims court We won our case and got the full refund for the repairs and court cost. We even use the trust pilot reviews as evidence to show that CAR FIRM are a dodgy corrupt second-hand car dealership that bring in cars and stick a fresh MOT on them regardless of their condition and take your money and will lie and fob you off to keep your cash.
If you choose to ignore this review, then please take this advice; RECORD EVERYTHING! Emails, phone calls and all documents as you will need it for when you go to court to get your money back. Also do not believe a word the manager Adam KHAN says as he is a has no problem lying to a County Court Judge to keep your money. He will certainly lie to you.
Or do the sensible thing and stay away from CAR FIRM.

Went for an appointment to have a look at a 2016 cls. Everything was good and I decided to go ahead and do the finance. Within 15 minutes I was told I was accepted. I paid my deposit to them and drove away within the hour and half
My son put a deposit down for a car, with an aim to pick it up the following weekend, was then told it had been recalled and no longer for sale (7year old car getting recalled by SEAT), I rang and said that's nonsense seat would not recall a 7-year-old car plus I have done a lookup and there is no outstanding recalls. The story then changed to it was recalled by the supplier due to bad finance against the car. Total BS
Basically, they got a better offer and broke a common law contract by disregarding the deposit and selling to someone else. Asking them for proof it was recalled they refused and asked for proof it had been sold. I explained it had a new MOT and new V5 issued, they say it was recalled prove it wasn't.
Basically don't trust these cowboys!
Called up to ask some questions about an s3 they had. Person on the phone was very helpful and when I asked if I can bring a mechanic down with me to check the car as I don’t know anything myself they were fine with it. On the day we were given the keys and had plenty of time to look at the car and test drive it. Very happy with the service I received from here and the car has been running very nicely
Shocking. Liars. Thieves. Promise breakers. For people who have quotations from the Quran littered around their showroom they show little in the way of humility or respect you would expect from a person of religious persuasion. I just hope that you are reading this before you buy anything from this bunch of cowboys. Sub human scum.
Receieved excellent service from car firm. They were very honest about the car and very helpful in arranging delivery for me. Once the car arrived, it was as described and delivery drivers were professional
I paid a deposit for a car from Car Firm, requested a refund under distance selling regulations within two weeks of deposit being paid and they refused to pay. Took over 2 months to get my money back through my bank. Also mileage on the car I paid the deposit for was incorrectly displayed (1556 lower than it actually was) on video on their website and within text on autotrader. This was the case before I paid the deposit and after they relisted it following me pulling out of the deal. I only noticed increased mileage when I received invoice the day after I paid the deposit.One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had.
