I have had an outstanding complaint unresloved since November 2024

I have had an outstanding complaint since November 2024. In the 1 year 1 was issued with two very large bills over 1k each time (I live in a 1 bed apartment and work in the office for reference) so this just did not make sense to me. The issue is still on going, that bill was suppose to be frozen until the issue was resolved but as of last week I am now down 1k as the amount was taken from my bank. I have found it very difficult or at all possible to get updates on this situation from the complaint team. the Customer service operators have tired their best to help but as there is no direct contact to the complaint team this issue is just causing unnecessary stress and anxiety.

I am really happy with the level of customer service Bord Gais provides. Also, the Electricity and Gas rates are good!

Very disappointed

Very disappointed. My meter has not been read in nearly 2 years. I have spoken to them at Christmas and they said they were replacing the panel. They have not. I have since sent 2 emails and had no reply. Really bad customer service. Really bad service overall. Absolutely the most frustrating interaction I have experienced to date with a service provider😕😤🙄

The service is awful

The service is awful, when they want to charge money off of you, they are the best! but when it comes to refund or even explain clearly the situation (no transparency) they are the worst...I do not recommend this company to anybody.

The single worst customer service experience i have ever experienced the advisors will do anything they can including lie to keep you on the phone and to stop you cancelling i would advise staying well clear of them

Terrible service

Terrible service , with them 4 years and now at the hardest time for everyone with covid19 they are sending me random bills of 380 euro over my usual amount and say it has to be paid in 2 weeks I am rarely home so don’t know where these bills are coming from Well done bord Gaia kick us while we are down Will be looking for new supplier ASAP

Our gas central heating stopped working last Sunday morning when the weather was extremely cold. I rang them on Monday morning at 8.30 and explained that my husband has Cancer. Your Engineer, (Ross Duffy) arrived about 9.45 and fixed it temporarily. The part was not available but he told me he would have it in a few days. He arrived this morning and fixed it. He was most pleasant and helpful and we are most thankful to him.

an absolute nightmare.....I signed up…

an absolute nightmare.....I signed up though I was aware of all theyre negative reviews. Every comment below is true/ they are the ultimate scammers. Trying to resolve any type of query is a nightmare...you'll be passed around from pillar to post with absolutely zero chance of a successful outcome/ resolution to your query. Took a LOT OF TIME and emails and phonecalls to get finished with them.....Im with airtricity now / a pleasure to deal with- correct bills/ correct meter readings and bills are DOWN an average 20%.
