I have had an outstanding complaint unresloved since November 2024

I have had an outstanding complaint since November 2024. In the 1 year 1 was issued with two very large bills over 1k each time (I live in a 1 bed apartment and work in the office for reference) so this just did not make sense to me. The issue is still on going, that bill was suppose to be frozen until the issue was resolved but as of last week I am now down 1k as the amount was taken from my bank. I have found it very difficult or at all possible to get updates on this situation from the complaint team. the Customer service operators have tired their best to help but as there is no direct contact to the complaint team this issue is just causing unnecessary stress and anxiety.

Great customer service and rates!

I am really happy with the level of customer service Bord Gais provides. Also, the Electricity and Gas rates are good!

Show some loyalty

I have being a loyal customer for over 17 years with bord gais, recently a different supplier knocked on my door with what sounded like a great deal I rang bord gais to see if they had any offers or any discounts remember I'm with them 17 years and I never phoned them not once ,they told me straight out that they were not offering me anything, so the discision to move was easy but wait for it ,it took me over 1 week to get the deactivation code thankfully it's done and I never have to put another cent towards your company, bad form bord gais and I have being telling my family friends and neighbours to do the same ,look after your customers bord gais before you have none left

This is to say thank you so much for the excellent support I received today and yesterday from your team. I spoke with a few representatives and didn't get all the names but I got Steven and Emily's names. They were all fantastic to deal with and nothing was too much trouble which I was so grateful for. They sorted most of my problems and I must call back again in a few days but I am so thankful for the help they gave me, so thank you so much again guys. Regards Martina Blake.

Spoke to Peter - quick and easy sign up

Spoke to Peter. Very quick and painless move to Bord Gais. Took 3mins to get through compared to 45mins with the telco companies.

We've had no problem with our Electricity supply. Submit meter readings which are ignored. Budget plan escalated with no explanation. Looking around again.

Overcharge, but thanks for customer service

Have been with company for an year in the past, have been literally feeling that I get overcharged with my every bill, not reasonably high charges for me. So decided to switch. Putting few stars for customer service, have never had a problem with contacting the company and problem solving.

Over Billing Nightmare €560

This company likes to confuse the heck out of people. Have been over billed for gas and fighting this for 4 months now. WHY? They have correct reading but refuse to recalculate the bill saying ‘It’s right.” With no explanation. Wonder how much extra € they get from other customers who give up and pay up. Where does this extra money go? Not to GasNetworks Ireland to be sure. CRU should investigate, somethings fishy.

Steer well clear of this company..........

I would give Bord Gais a big fat ZERO stars if i could..Its impossible to get a meter reading.....they provide bills just 6 days before they are due....this is extremely sharp practice........I spoke to the Regulator who is unable to do anything other than administer a €50 fine (or was it €30 ?) for each misdemeanor the company commits....hardly an incentive for the company to improve their Customer Service.......Why Bord Gais bother wasting money looking for new customers when they can't look after their existing ones is a mystery.
