Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals

Cabin was ok, probably wouldn’t stay here again though. Just a heads up if you are deciding to stay here: The loft is right above the main bedroom so everything on the floor above is really loud below. If you are cooking, the counter space is minimal. The hot tub gave us folliculitis, which can happen in poorly maintained hot tubs, so cleanliness of hot tub is questionable. Had to get antibiotics. There were some dead bugs in each room when we entered, which could happen after being cleaned I guess. The outdoor porch furniture was covered in bird poop. The shower body spray system was missing its set screw so it was stuck on the worst setting to take a shower with. On the positive side, the beds were comfy and clean, there were plenty of tvs if needed, the washer and dryer worked well, and the atmosphere of the cabin was homey.

We loved our stay. It was just what we needed to recharge our jets. Azalea was perfection. We loved the spaceousness and layout as well as the large enclosed deck overlooking the beautiful mountain view. It was also perfectly situated between Boone and Blowing Rock and a short drive to Grandfather Mountain, hiking trails, and Moses Cone which provided for a variety of activities, restaurants, Ingles grocery and shopping venues.

Beautiful cabin! The cabin was very clean, the amenities were great and it was fully stocked with everything you would need for your stay. The location is perfect as it sits right in between Blowing Rock and Boone. We had a great stay and will definitely be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful time and will definitely return to this house. A beautiful home in a wonderful location. Communications with the Blue Ridge rental staff was great. We will always remember our great times there.

We had a wonderful stay at Lazy Bear Inn for July 4th weekend! The cabin was perfect for our family and our dogs! The location was great- it felt quiet and secluded yet it was about a 10 min drive to Boone. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day at Tweetsie with the kids. We did not want to leave. Thank you for letting us stay at your amazing place!

This is our 4th time renting from Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals and everytime we've had very good customer service everytime we needed it. We got quick responses, competetive pricing and professional, curteous responses.

The yard and outside area was absolutely beautiful and extremely well-maintained. We saw three deer even a baby spotted fawn! The hot tub was perfect absolutely no issues, my kids loved it. The inside of the house was extremely well kept for an older home, met the owner who lives behind this rental, no rif raf at this house! Showers were hot and I was able to do all of our laundry before we left! Very easy to get to on and off the parkway very easy to get to Boone blowing rock all of the local attractions. Great experience!

The location is perfect for exploring the best of Eagles Nest just 5 mins from the front gate and 3 mins from the Great Camp Amphitheater, with hiking trails and activities just minutes away, yet it still feels like a private retreat. The hosts thought of everything and made sure we had what we needed for a perfect getaway. We made memories here that will last a lifetime and can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for the ultimate mountain escape, Black Diamond at Eagles Nest is the place to be!

This cabin is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from Boone. Easy drive to the cabin and the cabin was extremely clean. Back porch overlooks treeline and mountains with nice seating for their guests. Kitchen is well appointed and clean. Would definitely stay here again!

This is my second time renting with Blue Ridge Rentals what I like is that their properties are tucked away if you want them to be and are very well maintained. I enjoyed staying with them in West Jefferson this past week.
