We are a senior married couple seeing pictures of people sitting out on porches enjoying the weather and view from the homes in the area and were disappointed that we could not do this in the home we rented due to trees right against the screened porch totally blocking any view. No one wants to sit on a nice, screened porch and look at a wall of dense tree foliage, you might as well be inside facing a solid wall. Claustrophobic. We left after the first night. Returning? NO!

Thank you for your reply and for sharing my concerns with your management team. While I appreciate the offer of a $300 future credit, unfortunately, that is not an acceptable resolution given the nature and extent of the issues we experienced during our stay — especially in light of being charged twice for the same night. We were charged a total of $1,224.89 for our original reservation at Lost Ridge, which included an extension through Tuesday, July 1. Due to a complete water outage at Lost Ridge and the inability to use basic amenities (toilets, showers, cooking), we were forced to move to another property — ultimately ending up at Above and Beyond. Above and Beyond cost $1,827.16, yet we were not refunded for the remaining unused nights at Lost Ridge. Based on the timeline, this means we were charged twice for the same night (Monday, June 30). Additionally, we were charged a higher rate to relocate due to circumstances entirely out of our control, with a significant portion of our time and experience lost to calls, stress, and subpar accommodations (Apple of My Eye). This experience not only disrupted an already emotionally difficult time for our family, but it also resulted in considerable financial and personal inconvenience. The $300 future credit does not come close to addressing the total overcharge or the seriousness of the disruption. We are requesting a partial refund — specifically the value of the duplicate night charge and a fair adjustment to account for the lack of promised amenities, the unusable cabin, and the time lost resolving these issues. I am happy to provide phone logs and payment receipts, should they be helpful in reconciling the billing discrepancy. Please escalate this to the appropriate person on your management team. We are hoping for a fair resolution. Response: Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, our upper management team is not willing to offer anything additionally. I am so sorry!
A Beautiful home and in a great location!
Llama Creek Cabin was beautiful and enjoyed the restaurant on the mountain. We can’t wait to come back.
Setting of house and amount of space
The accommodations were amazing and the view breath taking. The check-in and out process was easy and convenient. The rooms were spacious and the family room was comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied where anything I needed to prepare a meal was available.
Had all the necessary items for a lovely stay. The brook that runs below the house is so relaxing you could go to sleep easily
Quick weekend getaway was perfect at Paradise Found. After missing the driveway a few times due to a construction project, there were no other issues with the cabin or weekend. View of (and access to) a great section of Watuaga River was better than expected. Screen porch was perfect lazy hang out spot for dogs and us! Lots of area eateries and activities. Modern interior, clean, and just right size.
Great people to work with, their rentals are amazing and descriptions are accurately described. Quick response to a door access problem, which I probably caused, and was remedied in minutes. I plan to rent from them again next year.

We had an awesome week at Lakeview cabin. It was everything and much more than we expected. Any questions we had with rental company were answered right away with friendly representatives. Excellent communication from management company from the moment I booked till even after checkout. Very clean, secluded home with beautiful updates. Little details like the kid toys in the closet and night light were much appreciated. Kid friendly, superb location.
The house was beautiful and spacious. We all loved the hot tub! The only negative thing is the gravel road where you have to make a sharp left and there are several huge places washed out. Felt like we were going to turn over.
