We had a good experience at our stay. We were expecting to have a Christmas tree in the living room. The lights outside the house weren't on. Apart from that, we really enjoyed it.
The house was great with plenty of room for everyone. The kid enjoyed the game room downstairs, and the view of the lake and mountain was beautiful with the snow falling.

We've rented with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals a few times and the houses have been in great locations, clean and well appointed, including the hot tubs. Never had an issue yet!
The location and setting were impressive, beautiful, relaxing, and spectacular regardless the cold.

The condo was clean and in a good location. Short walk to downtown. This complex is older. This particular unit is very outdated. The dishwasher is very loud, so don’t run it while you are there or trying to sleep. I think the shower head in the 2nd bathroom was installed for a child. I felt like Buddy the elf trying to shower in there. The walls are very thin as stated in the information about the condo. You can hear everything going on above you. Definitely need to add some more cooking utensils and silverware (normal size spoons). If you don’t plan to cook anything there and don’t mind hearing people walk above you this condo will be fine.
We couldn’t check in on time due to our cabin not being ready. Contract said 4pm and we were finally able to check in at 6:30pm. Unfortunately housekeeping did a terrible job at cleaning the cabin. I made numerous attempts to reach out to Blue Ridge Rentals to get them to address it and it was never addressed.

We had a wonderful time and experience during our recent visit! The house was just right for 2 families with small kids and the views were spectacular making the house feel big, open and airy! We would definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling to the Banner Elk area which had direct access to a ski in/ski out mountain.
