This North Carolina cabin DUE WEST was the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. We loved how close it was to town while still feeling tucked away in nature. Starting the day with coffee in the cool mountain air, listening to birds, was such a peaceful morning. We even had fun using apps to identify the different bird calls! The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. A truly relaxing place to land at the end of the day.

For a long weekend in the mountains, this was the perfect location, secluded yet relatively close to everything! It was peaceful and quiet with a fabulous porch to soak in the cool mountain air and the long range views. We spent a lot of time on the porch with our furry friend and loved that it was closed off so she could run free.

Great Customer Service, cleanliness, and even better views! Very responsive customer service when WiFi was out when we arrived. Cleanest hot tub we've ever seen & coziest cabin for our family getaway! Our toddler girls loved exploring the community on walks and short trips to the neighborhood amenities just down the road like mini-golf, the playground, the soccer fields, and more! We've visited Eagles Nest every year with our girls since they were born and it just gets better each year. Highly recommend.

Our family visited Blue Ridge Mountain Club in June 2025 for 4 nights. This was the first time we have been guests at the Club. We rented a home called Views of Fortune. The house was exceptional. It is beautifully furnished, cozy, has amazing mountain views, and is equipped with great amenities (smart home technology, parking, modern appliances and fixtures, outdoor living space). We truly enjoyed the house and loved the many club amenities like the hiking trails, pool, and pickleball courts. This is a trip that will hopefully be on our family's calendar every year now. We thank BRMC for welcoming us as guests and also thank Micki Hartley for helping us with our reservation.

My family stayed at the Vineyard Vista cabin in Eagles Nest, which is managed by Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. They are always very responsive and professional.

The cabin was exactly as described, it was very clean and well equipped. We even had a very thoughtful welcome gift! Communication with BRMR is super smooth, never had any issues. We’ve been renting from them on a yearly basis for over 10 years!

River View Retreat, Boone NC. 2 Adults and 5 lb. Chihuahua / Stayed 6/4/25 - 6/9/25 Once inside the house it's pretty special. Design, materials, furnishings, and view were all outstanding and the kitchen was amazing and fully equipped. Quite spacious for us and a fair value for the cost. Drawbacks... * Driveway is steep, winding, narrow...After navigating the craters and hanging branches to reach the small portion at the top that is hard surfaced there was so much loose gravel that I had to broom sweep it myself after our anti-skid / abs system took over the car (2024 RAV4 AWD). * Lastly, the property description over uses the word "private". The smaller building less than 20' from the hot tub which we assumed was a storage or equipment out building became occupied by a couple with a dog during our stay ?

I came to Sugar Mountain about 30 years ago for a yearbook camp, which was held in the main lodge. I normally take my family and grandkids to Amelia Island in Florida for vacation. The grandkids said that they wanted to go to the mountains This is the only place I can remember coming to the mountains so I brought them here. Everything was great. Brought back some memories. The kids love the house, the mountains we definitely will return.

Great house, great location, fabulous views, thoughtfully decorated, amazing hot tub. 5 minutes to West Jefferson and only 20 minutes to Boone.

We had a great time. The cabin had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

The check in time of 4pm is late imo. We got into town mid day and there wasn’t anyone in the cabin days prior and it was clean, but still had to wait on a technician to sign off. Once we tried to get in, the passcode was supposed to be my phone number and that did not work the whole time we were there. Called and had to get a different code from someone. The house is very nice, kitchen appliances are newer. Kitchen is pretty well stocked. One complaint about the house is that the outside deck and furniture was very dirty. Had to wipe all of the tables down, the chairs had a ton of pollen on them, deck had a lot of leaves and debris that hadn’t been cleaned. Hot tub worked well.
