I want to heavily recommend using Audley Travel. My step-father and I used their service for a trip to New Zealand and neither of us could commend this company enough. We were connected with a great women, Keila, who was so incredibly insightful and helpful in our planning. It was extremely comforting knowing that our trip was in the hands of someone so bright. Everything worked out perfectly for us. The trip ended up being my favorite trip of my life because of her help. My step-dad texted me a couple of days ago about the trip and he was so grateful. He was still in awe a week after we returned home. Anyways, I loved the trip that Audley gave us and all of the insights that helped us along the way.
We contacted Zac last year to enquire about a trip to Canada . We had teams/zoom discussions to share ideas about what we would like to do . Zac listened to us and got it spot on! Zac created our itinerary, which included a detailed step by step guide to where to be when … absolutely brilliant , thank you Zac, everything was just perfect !
We have just booked our dream holiday to visit Alaska, take the Rocky Mountaineer train and do a cruise. Leo has been amazing as a travel advisor and has expert knowledge in this field to guide us and has taken lots of time to tailor our trip to ensure we have the best experience. The itinerary looks incredible ... I felt he genuinely cares in making sure he helps to create our trip of a lifetime! We can't wait to go next year and would highly recommend Audley Travel and Leo for the Canada region.
This is our second time using Audley to help us navigate a wonderful vacation. Last year we enjoyed Canada, this year we tipped our toes into Europe, and headed to Ireland! Lydia was exceptional! We have two older girls and are an active family who loves to enjoy the outside and dine! She helped us balance both of those requests seamlessly. We kayaked by castles, walked the Cliffs of Moher, walked to waterfalls, biked through Dublin, and never stopped smiling at the beauty around us! Once we were ready to relax we had reservations for dinner and each place was unique and delicious! Thank you Lydia for helping to make our dream holiday a reality!
My husband and I are retired in Texas and we’re excited about planning and going on a month long vacation to Australia and New Zealand. About 8 months prior to the time I wanted to travel, I took much effort to speak with several travel agencies who specialized in these areas. I decided on Audley, had used them in the past. Our exciting vacation became a mediocre experience.
I chose Audley because in speaking with the original Australian specialist he seamed to be in line with my expectations but little did I know he would leave very shortly after I had spoke with him and paid my deposit.
The new agent assigned to us lacked in responsiveness and follow up. I felt there was no enthusiasm in helping us plan our trip. She was just handed over another client. At one point I was pretty frustrated and contacted a Audley supervisor. I received a call back from the supervisor a couple of days later. I was told I could copy him on any emails to her and he would be sure they was follow up. That was not the response I wanted or expected.
Second, I had done some research on my own and asked that three specific named 4+ star rated hotels be included in the trip. One of the three was a wonderful experience (it had 15 tents/rooms with the exact same view and floor plan, lucky for us). The other two hotels were amazing properties with harbor or ocean views but Audley booked us with a room looking into parking garage or at the base of the hotel. Most of the room choices at the hotels were average, definitely no WOW! factor .
Third, regarding the general scheduling of our itinerary activities, most were a touristy type that you can find on a google search. I will give Audey credit for the Quoll Patrol Tour. Bushy our guide and chef took us to see some great sites and animals.
I believe if you are engaging a specialty travel agency to plan your trip they should be able to provide some WOW experiences and or hidden gems not just the activities that most can find on the internet. And you would think their relationships with the hotels they choose, booked so far out would have been better room choices.
We booked our first trip with audley travel to italy. it was expensive but we added in the activities and personal touch as a perk
Our next booking was to Portugal. It was the same price as italy and should have been significantly less but we were told it was about the drivers and private guides ( which we also had in Italy) It was a red flag but we were excited and proceeded
Two days before we were to leave I was diagnosed with Covid and the Flu and we had to cancel the trip. We were lucky enough to have trip insurance but i must say Audley was horrible . (unreceptive and ineffective. ). They refunded nothing , not even a dinner two weeks away at a private home ..hard to believe
i’m sure if nothing goes wrong audley will be wonderful ( and overpriced ) but I also feel certain they would not be helpful in any crisis and therefore we are done with them. (not even a note to say how do you feel ). Anyone can be wonderful when they are not needed at all .
Amazing 2 weeks holiday, our first time in South Africa and definitely not our last. Brilliantly organised by Audley Travel from start to finish including fantastic hotels, transfers, trips and Safari. Special thanks to Catherine at Audley, Jorge at Ilios and Marco our Sanbona ranger. There was one negative…..having to come home!!

We have always wanted to see the sights of Egypt but did not want to cruise down the Nile. John Cole put together our ideal itinerary and everything worked perfectly. Audley used guides and drivers from a local agency, Emeco. All the guides were excellent and greatly added to our knowledge and enjoyment of the Country. An especial mention for Fayez, Ahmed, Amani, Mohammed and Marian Emad. The Audley service is pricey but gave us exactly what we wanted.
This trip to Egypt and Jordan was so well planned and executed! Our representatives, guides, and drivers were really knowledgeable and made every place we went better than if we went on our own! Really made our “trip of a lifetime” come to life!
Amazing trip Golden Triangle tour of India with an 8 day stay in South Goa.
This is the first time I have ever traveled with a tour company as I usually arrange everything myself but not being familiar with India I decided to go with Audley and I’m so glad that I did. Alison Hall our India specialist was fantastic and arranged every detail down to the last minutia . We were treated like Royalty from the moment we arrived . We had our own driver for the full tour of India and individual guides in Delhi Agra and Jaipur. At each hotel we were met by an Audley rep who checked us in to the hotel and provided us with details and information about the tours we were going on that day and the next . I chose my own hotels from the list provided by Audley and with guidance from Alison and they were all stupendous. Audley provided a pre trip video which was helpful and the Audley phone App was brilliant for keeping track of everything. This is such a quality company and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

We recently had a post-cruise trip in Australia suggested by Peter Boll. Though we ended up not doing it for various reasons, Peter was very professional, with a good sense of humor. My sense was that he would go to great lengths to provide an above average experience.
Audley organised a two site safari to Tanzania and a beach break in Zanzibar for us, the whole process from first contact to departure was seamless and very well organised. Arista Midwinter, our Audley contact, listened to our requirements, made very helpful suggestions and delivered a package that exceeded our expectations. Would recommend Audley.
