Poor Rhein en Flammen trip

This was a Rhein en Flammen trip. We were last in line and the fireworks were at least 1/2 mile away. Would have seen more had we stayed docked in Rudesheim. Beds were very hard. The A-Rosa Brava furniture is looking pretty "tired". Drinks were watered down. Never heard "boo" from Captain--I suppose there was one.

First, but not last time A-Rosa customer

The A-Rosa all inclusive is truly "All Inclusive." The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. The food was well prepared and in variety. The optional excursions were well organized and enjoyable and the free use of bicycles an unexpected perk.

Wir haben auf der Luna eine Woche in Südfrankreich erlebt. Das Essen war lecker und abwechslungsreich, die Mitarbeiter überwiegend sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders Shaun, unseren Kellner, möchten wir loben: immer sehr freundlich, schnell, hilfsbereit und versucht jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen, top👍 . Herzlichen Dank🙏🏻. Das die Essenszeiten auf 1 bzw. 1 1/2 Stunden wegen der Arbeitszeit begrenzt sind, ist im Urlaub stressig. In der Getränkepauschale ist wenig enthalten. Auf Deck wird oft sehr lange auf Getränke gewartet oder wir haben diese an der Bar selber geholt. Das Schiff ist in die Jahre gekommen und das zeigt sich überall. Die Ausstattung ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Wir haben der Fahrt viele moderne, schönere Schiffe erleben dürfen. Auf dem Sonnendeck sollten die Liegestühle und Stühle mal gegen bequemere ausgetauscht werden. Loungemöbel nicht vorhanden. Der Blick auf das Wasser und die Gegend ist nur im vorderen Teil möglich. Ansonsten wird auf weißes Metall geschaut. Sehr schade… wir hätten gerne den Ausblick während der Fahrt genossen. Die Klimaanlage schafft es kaum gegen 32-38 Grad zu kühlen. Im Restaurant waren es 26 Grad. Wegen der Sonne waren die Rollos meistens unten, so dass es keine Aussicht gab. Wir würden so ein altes Schiff bei den hohen Preisen nicht wieder buchen.

Wonderful Danube River Cruise on the A-Rosa Donna!

Our party of 4 (2 couples) thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful week on the A-Rosa Donna, Danube river cruise. All the crew from the cleaners to the Captain were first class, all so friendly and helpful, making our holiday a very special time. All the food was excellent, such a variety every day and a great selection of drinks too. We would like to make a special mention to the dining/drinks crew members who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay, they were brilliant! We have already recommended this holiday to family and friends and will definitely be booking future river cruises with A-Rosa. Thank you!

Ich bin sehr enttäuscht

Ich bin sehr enttäuscht! Ich wollte die Zugreise zum Schiff über die Arosa buchen, da mir der Transport zum Schiff sehr wichtig war (da meine Mutter schon 90 Jahre alt ist). Der Mitarbeiter am Telefon hat mir erklärt das ich den Zug auch selber buchen kann, der Transfer vom Bahnhof zum Schiff ist auf jeden Fall dabei. Er sagte: " Ich muss nur anrufen wann wir ankommen". Daraufhin habe ich dann bei der deutschen Bahn selber gebucht. Jetzt habe ich angerufen und wolle einen Termin zum Transfer vereinbaren und jetzt ist der Transfer nur noch mit dabei wenn man die Zugreise über die Arosa selber bucht. Ich muss auch noch dazu sagen, dass ich meine Reise bezüglich Corona schon seit 2 Jahren verschoben habe und das ich nicht mein Geld zurück verlangt habe. Hier hätte man zumindest versuchen können eine Einigung in der Mitte zu finden, vor allen Dingen auch, weil der Weg zum Schiff 30 -45 Minuten beträgt. Nach der Enttäuschung vermute ich, dass es meine letzte Reise mit der Arosa sein wird.

Do not touch if you are not German speaking!

We went on the a-rosa aqua, on supposedly an international cruise - completely missold! No excursions offered for non german speaking and all entertainment on board only offered in German. Made to feel like complete outsiders- Worst holiday ever experienced

Booking online did not work with my web…

Booking online did not work with my web browser. I switched to another browser(chrome) and it worked. There were other people in our group who had the same problem. Some had chrome and to switch to a different browser. I tried to contact customer service, multiple times for weeks without receiving any help. Someone from your international group finally contacted me and was very helpful. We have travelled with you before and loved your cruise. There are 16 bookings in our group. If it hadn't been for our previous good experience, I can honestly say you would have lost these bookinks.

Finding the right cruise and booking it was very easy

Finding the right cruise and booking it was very easy. We are so excited to enjoy Germany on the A-Rosa Cruise. We will train into Cologne and I will submit my schedule so A-Rosa can pick us up and take us to the ship. We are currently looking to book another cruise.

booking question format is awkward

I had a booking question but no one has responded yet and therefore haven’t paid the invoice deposit yet. I would love to complete my booking- this is the 3rd time we’ve sailed with them so we trust them and enjoy our time onboard. It’s been a great company in general to work with
